At work on the West side I get absolutely no signal inside or outside the building. It's ridiculous. I had an LG Stylo 3 Plus and it was spotty but just upgraded to an iPhone 6 and now it's way worse. The phone is from MetroPCS so I don't understand why I can't get good signal.

I got to El Paso a few months and got stationed at East Fort Bliss. I had T-Mobile before then. I got great service... until I got to El Paso. Once I arrived here, reception was either spotty at best, or non-existent. I'd usually not receive service at all while inside my room. So, I did what I never wanted to do again and got back with AT&T. Since switching with them, I USUALLY get decent to spotty service... but it's always at 3G. I called them about this and all they said was that they "can't guarantee" 4G LTE for anyone who hasn't gotten a phone specifically from AT&T. My phone is an unlocked Galaxy S8. It was bought it Korea, sure, but during the time I was with T-Mobile I did receive LTE, which means AT&T is intentionally locking people out of LTE speeds unless they buy a phone directly from them. Reasons like this are why I hate this company. Despite my hatred for AT&T however, everyone I've asked has said AT&T is the best choice for service in this area.

My wife and I had our phones checked because we could not believe that a service could be this bad in 2018. We cant get an uber, we cant load a webpage, its incredibly useless. Even with all the bars, its super slow... Customer service just says that "You should have LTE in that area" and does nothing. We are cancelling Sprint contracts after 2 days of unbelievable uselesness...

One bar most the time. Dropped calls and poor reception. Slow data. Verizon work phone is no better. It's a signal black hole here. Worst than a third world county.

115 to 125 dBm at home. You're in danger of dropped calls at 120 dBm (higher numbers are worse for signal strength).

I came to El Paso three years ago from Dallas. Never had much complaint but El Paso just sucks! I am luckey if I get 2 bars. Most of the time I do without service and just keep paying my bill. You would think that with all the client base here they would put forth a little effort. I'm so frustrated that I am going to switch carriers.

Worst experience ever with Sprint. I have been a customer since 2003 and never had it this bad. There is zero to no Sprint coverage in El Paso. My phone is basically paper weight, can’t do much with it.

I have a LG G6 from Verizon and I can get 5 bars and no service, calls drop, phone says no service but my husband has a Samsung s8 and gets perfect fast internet even if we're in the same spot with the same bars or he'll get 3 bars and I'll get maybe 1. Wtf Verizon.

Poor service, only 2 towers in the city of El Paso. No calls, no coverage, must be on wifi... but because they cover Bear the airport they say they provide coverage to El Paso... we were told we were not covered at our house but because my wife’s military orders say Ft Bliss... they denied our request to change coverage, after telling us for over a month that we could. So now we have AT&T and Sprint cell phones. Because we were scheduled to cut service in 2 days and signed a new contract to get ATT in 2 days.

Most of the time I only have 1 bar. Sometime no service at all. Had to turn off roaming since the Mexico signal was stronger to avoid International charges. So phone doesn’t switch to other carriers. West side of El Paso needs a new tower from ATT.
