Have not had any problems at home. However, at work, on Fort Bliss, near the airfield, I didn't use to get good reception, but now I usually have a signal in my office. Previously, I had to walk to the window to get any consistent reception.

Horrible! I have to literally walk outside my boyfriends apartment complex and walk half way down the street and stand very still to make a call or txt. Even then the call drops right away and text fails have to send a few times in order to get sent. Works good in Albuquerque but El Paso its a good for nothing service. My old walmart straight talk phone service got way better& functional service here in El Paso..

For T-MOBILE users! Simple mobile is only $45 a month ((after taxes and fees, not before)) and is the same service provider, just has a different name.

i live on the far west side cell phone reception is horrible. I have a signal booster and connect to wifi and my phone has 0 bars and when a call does go through they drop within the matter of minutes. I call T-Mobile and they tell me that it shows me getting coverage in my area even though the call drops in mid conversation with them about 3-4 times no exaggeration. They put in these so called trouble tickets and then dont do anything about it. my contract ends in a couple of months and I cant wait to switch services. so disapointed in t-mobile.

I always have 2 bars to 3 bars I think t mobile is good except for my calls drop often and my data slows down a lot when I have "unlimited" data. Also I hate that my s4 can moves apps from my internal storage to my sd card its really making mead. And I think t mobile really needs to fix this before it makes customers like me mad and leaves to a service that do it let us do it like verizon, at&t, and also Sprint can do it. So I don't see why t mobile is any different and I hope more customers find out about this so they don't buy this phone. I love this phone except I cant download everything id like because my phone don't have all the amount of space it needs. Ugh please fix this asap I would b a happy customer

Wish I could see more reviews for services in the Northeast. I've lived on Sean Haggerty which is as far northeast as you can go without getting into the Mesquite neighborhood and now moved to Hondo Pass. I honestly want to blame my phone, which was an iPhone 4, but my service has never been good. Over an over, I get Edge data which is so slow it's unusable without wifi. The call bars are consistently at about 3 with them rising and lowering when I move just a couple of feet or raise my phone in the air like the Lion King. The calls drop a LOT and the quality isn't too good, but then again I pay 57 bucks (49.99 +tax) and I don't want to pay more. The service isn't necessarily BAD, but the call coverage varies WIDELY. I can call in EPCC transmountain campus unless I go downstairs in the library and VV Campus I can call outside. That's it. Not inside; I get virtually no reception inside. But it depends on what you want: Quality or Cheapness. I know what I pay for and I stay with it due to no plans and unlimited talk, text, and data (even IF the data is nonexistent). Make the right decision yourself but really just decide on what you want.

I live in Kern Place close to Arroyo park. Using an HTC ONE I bounce between 4g and 4g lte. Great web browsing speeds and very good reception. Never dropped calls. When using my Nexus 4 always get 4g in the Kern area. Been with T-Mobile 10+ years. Overall great service that has improved greatly especially in the last year.

Drop calls almost everyday and most of the time calls dont even come in (goes straight to voice mail.) I cant browse the net or download anything during the day. I have to wait untill 1 or 2am in order to download or browse with no problem. Its 1:08am right now as a matter of fact. So if u live in soccoro area Sprint is no bueno... Unless u live in the eastside (joe battle and montwood) lighting fast 4g

The reception for Sprint in the this city is almost as bad as teh reception I get in the Utah mountains around Brian Head. Reception of such poor quality might be understandable in a high mountain ski resort but it is absolutely unacceptable in a major city. I have been with Sprint for almost 5 years and the reception is great in Las Vegas, New York City, West Point, Ft Knox, and In most areas of Utah. I cannot believe that in a city so large the reception is so poor. There are at times that I can't even make calls from my home. My wife and I are considering switching carriers unless something is done! I am through with this. I missed a call from work the other day because the reception did not allow my phone to receive a message for almost 6 hours. I cannot perform at work when my cellular service is this poor; It has interfered with my work. I pray that those powers that guide Sprint realize that El Paso must be taken care of. If they don't I will probably switch to AT&T or something... I am almost through with sprint. If anybody would like to contact me to ask questions, my email is derrydooey@gmail.com

AT&T here is great! Never had a problem and AT&T has great customer service! I switched from Verizon and was the best move ever. Verizon has horrible customer service and every time I go to the store they are such liars. AT&T is way faster internet than Verizon's LTE. The bill is great with AT&T! I live in the far eastside and I never get lower than 4 bars! I would definitely recommend them.

I switched from Sprint to ATT and was the best switch ever made. AT&T is amazing here in El Paso,TX. The 4G LTE here is amazing speeds. I do a speedtest everday and I get 50 download and 9 upload which is really good. I tryed my friends Verizon phone and he only got 9 download and 6 upload! I live in the westside od El Paso and I never get lower than 3 bars! Before I got ATT I tryed all thed carriers and AT&T was the fastest!

Verizon

4 Out of 5 (4 stars) | Painted Quail | New World Dr., El Paso, TX 79936 |

I have been a Verizon customer for the past 13 years. There was a time when Verizon wireless service left a lot to be desired. That is no longer the case. On average, my phone signal meter indicates 4 out of five bars of signal strength. I rarely experience dropped calls, and the call / sound quality is good. As far as indoor use is concerned, if I am in a big or tall building with more than five floors, the signal strength will drop down to two out of five bars. That is to be expected with any cell phone and cell service. To correct poor reception inside of a building, your best bet is to purchase a cell booster / repeater. I have read reports claiming that they do work. Anyways, Verizon provides excellent coverage all across the U.S. But then again, this is my opinion.

I recently upgraded to the GS4 about 2 weeks ago and have been able to receive 4G LTE just about 90% of the time. It will fluctuate to 4g coverage at times, but will go back to 4G LTE in time. The speeds are amazing and I am truly happy with my service overall. I have not experienced dropped calls at all and receive 3 / 4 to 4 / 4 bars of signal strength from T-Mobile. Previously I had an HTC Sensation, with this phone I was receiving 4G coverage and never had a problem with the network either. I do live on the Westside for those not familiar with the streets I live near.

This morning on my way to work I noticed that my T mobile Iphone5 was displaying LTE. I live in El Paso Tx and up till today there was no LTE here. I've been keeping an eye on my phone and it seems as though its steadily changing from 4G to LTE then back. I ran a speed test while displaying LTE and the download was just under 20 mbs and the upload was just under 6mbs. That's blazing fast! Hopefully it'll stay that way and most importantly, I look forward seeing if the coverage improves.
