I have lived in this area 5 years and have Cingular service the entire time. For the past 3 1 / 2 years have had little or no signal at the house. Cingular customer service has laid the blame on me, the phone and anything else they can think of. I have looked at the coverage maps and found I was in a little to no reception zone(as of 20 Mar 2006), however when I confronted customer service about this I was told both myself and the service tech at the Cingular store were both essentially liars. I have made numerous calls to Cingular about the problems of poor reception, dropped calls, missed calls and choppy connection, but according to thier all seeing all knowing computer system, these don't happen on mine or my wifes phones. (which are the same by the way) I want to know what happened to the phrase "The customer is always right". I am very dissatisfied with this company, thier lack of customer service and the inablility to contact anyone in the coorporate arena to assist. Do yourself a favor and don't get Cingular as a carrier unless you like being kicked around and treated like a second class citizen.
