I'm just north of euless city hall and get constant dropped calls. I just got the new sevice from AT&T on 8-27-11 and it's been terrible from the beginning.

Until early 2011, reception was quite good in our area but it seems in the last three or so months, it has degraded precipitously. It is so poor now that I can no longer get a clear signal within approximately 0.5 miles from our home. I have verified this with two phones with AT&T service. I am about to switch carriers.

Previous to Christmas 2009, medium reception. Since 2010, very poor reception at home or in general area. AT&T must have given up an antennae in the area. Map shows no antennae in Mid-Cities area.

Extremely poor results from Cingular. Continued drop outs during calls (even with 5 bars showing). I switched from Nextel to Cingular, and I now regret the decision.

Outside the signal bounces from 0 to 2 or 3 and depending on the direction you are facing or how high you hold your phone above your head, you can may be grap a 4th bar. Go inside your house?? You'll be lucky to get 1 bar in any building in the area. And it is not just T-mobile. AT&T, Sprint and Verizon all are in the same boat in this hole. Where's the tower? About 400 yards from where I'm writing this from and I have 0 bars right now.

T-Mobile's reception has always been perfect in the DFW metro area. I throughly recommend anyone who lives in Dallas to use them. When I visited family in upstate NY however, not so much.

My Verizon phone works fine in my apartment,4 to 5 bars but T-Mobile has no service till I walk outside with 2 to 3 bars

I've been reporting this reception problem to Verizon for five years. The whole neighborhood is a dead zone. All Verizon can say is "Oh Well".

I use both my cell phone and wireless data card from Verizon Wireless and even though I live in a major apartment complex I have never had a problem with my service or signal. They may cost more but it is the network, that gets my money!
