I had a prepaid Samsung with Verizon that worked fine in my house in north benbrook. I now have a LGVX3300 and even with a replacement on the phone, I do not get hardly any reception. I'm assuming this is a phone problem because the prepaid phone worked. I'm in a 2 year contract and Verizon says there are holes where you get no reception (standard answer to cover things that can't be explained I think). I will pay my 2 years and eventually find a phone with excellent reception but will lower my package to the lowest price per month allowed and I will not renew. It's sad when you have no reception in your home in the middle of the dallas / fort worth metroplex. Just maybe be honest with me and tell me the phone might be junk. I can live with that and move on.

Cingular is odd. Regularly when sitting at this light my reception will go from 3 bars to 0. The phone will then switch to Roam at 2 bars. Then a few seconds later the signal switches back to Cingular at 3 bars. This all while sitting still at the stop light waiting for it to turn green. ie. Not Moving! I've dropped dozens of calls right at this spot.

Actually this happens while just sitting on my sofa. I'm not even driving in a car. At random times decent signal will suddenly drop and the phone goes to Roam. Then a few seconds later it goes back to Cingular.

Go 1 mile from the Cingular store in Lake Worth going west or northwest towards Azle no signal at all. Was sold Razr3 saying it would work. Ha!

Poor service in the Hulen Heights / Summer Creek Ranch Area. Zero or 1 bars indoors and outdoors. Previous Sprint and T-Mobile service had full bars in this area.

This is a CDMA Verizon network. Local reception has always been good with maximum signal strength most of the time. However, the farther west one goes, the weaker the signal. No reception in Young, Palo Pint or Shackelford county where the CDMA signal strength peters out. Roaming indicator displays and the signal is weak or non-existant.

T-mobile has THE WORST reception I've ever seen. They aren't at all helpful via e-mail. Sprint works just fine in the apartment. Guess I'll have to get rid of T-Mobile. They're just miserable.

I can have a full signal, and if the conversation lasts about 10 minutes, the call will drop and there will be zero bars. No warning and even if I don't move an inch.

Call Failed:Network Busy on over 50% of the calls. Furthermore, all incoming calls go immediately to voice mail.

I don't wan't good reception!

Inside most Cypress Springs apartments (in south FW), there is almost no reception unless you sit on the floor right next to the back door.

Cingular has the absolute worst reception in Texas. When I had Verizon, I never had this problem. CCCINGULAR STINKS!!

I live in the development adjacent to Trinity and Precinct Line, and get medium reception at best. Worse though, is how my calls will suddenly get dropped mid conversation. This happens in other places as well, but it is far worse here, and happens during every conversation that goes on more than a few minutes.

In our house we get no reception. We have to go outside to get 2 bar reception. Mostly dropped calls.

I drive through there everyday, and every time I'm on the phone driving through there my calls get dropped.

I live by the airport and work in the Westlake / Southlake area. I have family in Arlington, and have traveled out of state. I have never had a dropped call or could not make a call due to signal. My contract is up in July '05, but I'm not going anywhere!

Great, strong phone. Works better than other phones I have had (ATT) as long as I am in service area.

My signals are constantly on the move. I sit in my living room I get one bar half the time. I stand up and I loose all signal. I had full service anywhere else in the house and outside. I do get alot of droped calls. The signal was great until the merge then it seems it went from full 5 bars to 3. I recently changed my phone number and now it seems the best I can get anywhere is 3.

This square in the SW corner of Int 30 and 820 has yielded no signal or one bar since moving summer 03. Called and was told a new tower was going up at Meadowbrook and 820 in summer of '04. If this happened, it hasn't made any change to reception. Wondering if it has something to do with big Channel 11 tv tower. But, Cingular and Verizon reception is fine, you get multiple bars all day long. I need to call again but it's such a whip to file a ticket and go through the motions. Really is not right to pay for 2000 min a month that we can't use at home and we are stuck in the contract.
