Reception is horrible. Can go from 3 bars to no service without moving. Constantly drops calls. Other providers apparently have better reception as I can sit next to someone with another provider and they have full service.

All the time when I'm in Garrison I am roaming. I have T-Mobile and I'm always either roaming on AT&T or Cellular One and the service is horrible. I always get dropped calls and roaming is very annoying, especially when you try to check your voicemail. T-Mobile needs to add a tower over here.

We are a family of 3 with the same great new Verizon phone. Unfortunately it seems that ATT gets better reception in this deep East Texas area. We still have one old ATT cell phone, and 3 new Verizon cell phones. Around town, signal strength is ok on either service, but better on the ATT. We are staying at Camp Tonkawa Springs off of 259 out on FM 1087 until we buy a house. Service at the campsite is poor for both Verizon and ATT but if we step outside the camper we can get service on the ATT phone but must walk around to hunt a spot to get service on the Verizon phones. We can not use the Verizon data plan in the camper either. Our neighbor at the campsite has ATT with a booster and gets great service inside their camper via ATT. My husband works inside a metal shop in the town of Nacogdoches and can use the ATT phone in the building but gets no signal on the Verizon phone inside the building. He can get a signal on the Verizon if he steps outside. My daughter and husband are taking classes at SFA and service on either phone works at the University and elsewhere around the loop. There are some dropped calls on the Verizon phones in certain areas that are not dropped on the ATT phone. I just bought these Verizon phones and really wanted to keep them. We are still under the 30 day trial period and it's looking more and more like we'll have to return to ATT in this particular area.
