No reception inside my home even though Sprint assured me there would be. Now they tell me that "mobile" phones are for outside use, not inside use. They claim cell phones are not meant to be used inside buildings which is ridiculous. Sprint customer service is impossible to deal with. Other people in the area say the same about Sprint's reception no matter what type of phone they have.

One bar of reception in the house. Dropped calls constantly. Sprint is impossible to deal with. G'town store tells me I have to drive to RR store to have my discontinued phone tested even though they admit there's only one tower with in range of my address - and that it is probably oversubscribed, further diminishing reception capabilities. They will not let me out of my contract because the 30-day trial period has expired... despite the fact that I didn't live in this area (or have these issues where I did live) when I started the contract!

Most of the time the reception is pretty good. My husband is on Nextel, and he gets little to no reception in our home. Friends in Brushy Creek get no cell reception at all, regardless of the carrier, when in their neighborhood. Go figure. Verizon is better than average on reception, but Sprint is better than average on pricing. Both have EVDO coverage that is good in this area.

I've had Sprint service for 10 years and it's been very good in Central Texas and in and around many major cities in the US: Philadelphia, Washington DC, Seattle, San Diego, Las Vegas, West Palm Beach, many others. It's not always good when I get more than 40-60 miles from a major population center (as in Nashua NH or Frecderickburg TX.)
