In Aug, 2007, I checked the coverage from Little Rock (where I live) to Henderson (where I visit) before moving to T-Mobile - the coverage was outstanding so I switched. By both Thanksgiving and Christmas when I visited Henderson, the coverage around College and S. Marshall streets was nonexhistent! I reported it to T-Mobile - they wrote a "trouble ticket" and said they would email me the results but, as of December 29, 2007, I have had no response from T-Mobile and the sevice is still very poor to none around that location.
cingular and AT&T suck their service is way below poor, I just we as customers had a re-course so we could tell the big wigs a cingluar and AT&T to get off their ass's and get us bak our reception... but you know as well as I do they don't care.and things will never change.
I have had Cingular service for 4 years with no problems until 2 weeks ago. I had excellent service due to a Cellular One Tower close to my house. Now I have no reception at home or anywhere from Tatum to Henderson. I have several phones on one account with Cingular. They may not think losing SOME customers will hurt them, but when WE start telling OTHERS about this incident, they may lose future customers as well. I will NEVER recommend Cingular to anyone again. I have already talked to many people who are having the same problem and switching companies. We are losing rollover minutes due to not being able to use our service. This is costing the customers of Cingular in East Texas.
Cingular "claims" its putting up 2 towers in this area. One is somewhere on 79 and don't know where other is. Cellular One is who they share towers with and spoke with them. They state Cingular didn't want to pay roaming fees on these towers and let them go. They expect payment on bills, I expect them to keep service going. Offered to let out of contract but how can they do this legally. Isn't that "breach of contract" on their end? Its forcing people out.
Had good service. Just found out that Cingular ("the new AT&T") let their contract on the East Texas towers (owned by Cellular One) elapse and now there is no coverage in 8 counties in East Texas and there will not be any for at least another year or more. Cigular is letting people out of their contracts. This is the 2nd time "AT&T" has dumped on me. First time, they broke up my family plan.
I am currenrly with Cellular One of Eastexas and get very poor signal. They need to put up a tower on this side of town so we can get service. Don't know why they don't,,Altell did!!
Only carrier to have in East Texas. Share towers with Verison also. Maybe customer service doesn't offer the best technical help, but does have the best network coverage by far.
