No signal in houseWas this review helpful to you?
everytime I call from my apartment people say they can't hear me. I even have wi fi and connection is terrible. I was told there are plenty of towers in my area but still have terrible reception at Westheimer and Wilcrest major streets. Was this review helpful to you?

While I use MetroPCS, they use T-Mobile as a signal carrier. At the street I see LTE at -116 dBm, we often drop to WCDMA, hsps+, Edge. The signals drop to -121 dBm, which is effectively the dead zone. Calls are often sent directly to voice mail, and messages can arrive hours later. We often never hear a ring, but a voice mail notification pops up, to say we missed the call. Complaints about the service can NOT be made because no one knows to who or where to do so. That's because they are retailers, and have nothing to do with the carrier. Was this review helpful to you?
I forgot to mention we have no problems with texts, sending or receiving. About a year ago, we went thru a period of a few weeks of not receiving texts promptly, but that problem has been resolved and we have had no issues since then. The texts always involved my husband's windows phone. TMo has been great, we have unlimited everything (2g for 2 phones) and spend about $150 for three phones, paying on one, extra data for another, insurance, and an extra line which was $10. They have never ever changed my bill, which another reviewer complained of. I've had the same carrier for years. Really cannot complain. Was this review helpful to you?
I have never had a problem with coverage at my location. The only time I have a problem is when I'm on the way to Dallas. There is a dead spot outside Fairfield. Otherwise I have enjoyed TMo very very much. Customer Service has been wonderful. I have a great plan. I have been researching carriers wondering if there is anything cheaper (Sprint having a good sale now but I dont't think Sprint has as good coverage as TMo) and read a review from a techie. He said that a lot of times, the problem isn't with the carrier, but the phone and its soft or hardware. That's just my two cents. I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 and bought it at WalMart for $200. I have dropped it several times on tile floor, never a shattered screen. I am satisfied with TMo and with my Galaxy Samsung phone. My husband who has a Windows phone likes it, and my daughter who lives in Dallas and has an iPhone has not problems with TMo either. Was this review helpful to you?
Had T Mobile for a few years live near a major road called 1960 and little to no reception even with driving down the street. Text arrive days late, family complains of making calls I never recieve and T Mobile is the only carrier I have had this problem with. VERIZON IS SO MUCH BETTER AND LESS MONTHLY YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE AN IDIOT TO GO WITH T MOBILE. Good luck to you, do your research avoid T Mobile at all costs they will change your monthly bill and managers have education equal to that of my 11 year old nephew. Was this review helpful to you?
My wife and I have both experienced major signal and data problems over the last few months. Service was adequate prior to that. AT&T is not helpful in person or on the phone. We went through all of their troubleshooting to no avail. They just try to make you jump through hoops until you give up and accept their poor service. It's like dealing with a pathological liar. Not worth the price or stress. I suggest you find a different carrier. I was not surprised to see all of the similar reviews. This is why companies like AT&T shouldn't own media companies. They're too big of liars to be allowed in that business. It's much of the problem we're dealing with now.Was this review helpful to you?
Inside the building, reception fluctuates from 1 bar to none and calls drop if I ever get one out or in, otherwise, lose too many calls, specially from our company's field foremen. Messages take time to go out or in. When I'm outside the building, I get about three bars, and then I am able to make calls. We are not allowed to connect to the WiFi so those of us who have T-Mobile service suffer by being loyal to Tmobile. Sooner or later, the other carriers will get their prices low enough to switch to the one that does give better network service. I will not mention the carrier that has good reception inside the building, but that is the one I am thinking about to change to when I get tired of being loyal. Maybe T-Mobile will start providing better network services in the near future, hopefully not too late. Was this review helpful to you?
