Overall very bad reception. Sometime zero bars. No reception, when you do get reception it is very poor - you have to be outdoors in a certain spot with out moving. I no longer have contracts with them, so I might look for something better if this doesn't clear up soon.Was this review helpful to you?

I get ALOT of dropped calls since I moved to this area. I have had my Sprint number since 2000, and I am very unsatisfied. They gave me a free airave - does not work. I missed important calls from work, and family - mostly work! It's like playing Russian roulette with my phone trying to text - I have to watch the "searching" and hit "send" as soon as I see "one" dot for signal! Customer service rep was a smart a** when I was voicing my complaint. They advertise "fewer dropped calls" JOKE! They have a store in my neighborhood with NO service - JOKE - people going in to buy phones thinking all will be fine.. guess what - GOOD LUCK. I am currently researching to see who will be the best cell provider for the area I live in. Large corporation and they can't "guarantee" service when Cricket is smaller corporation and they are passing Sprint UP (even though they are merging with Aio and soon will be no more Cricket). When I'm at the office, I am able to send / receive text messages but when it comes to data, NOTHING works. I've called Sprint 4-5 times in the last month regarding this issue and their resolution is either - dial the ## number to refresh network settings update PRL and profile reset the network settings reset the phone to factory settings or lastly, go to the Sprint connectivity store (nearest one from the galleria area is about 5 miles out and nearest one from home is about 10 miles out). Customer service is not supportive at all and redundant with their technical solutions, like a broken record. I get NO signal at home, I have the Airave device which is A JOKE. I get dropped calls AND failed text messages when I'm at home. Spoke to customer service rep the other day while they were working on our 2nd phone, and the rep says, "Sir, you are completely breaking up and I can not hear you". My response, "I am at my house, and this is your service and instead of providing me with a solution to fix this problem, you are addressing the problem that I already know". Oh and I pay around $185 / month (insurance, fees, and taxes) for 2 lines and bound to a two year contract with a company that is only interested in leeching money from their customers rather than providing solutions to alleviate their suffering. This is the worst cell-phone service I have ever experienced. I would not use T-Mobile if they gave me their service for free. I feel like I was scammed into purchasing their services with their "pay your disconnection fee and free phone" now I have service that doesn't work. My line of work requires my clients to be able to call me at any given time and since my phone keeps sending them to voicemail and I cant call out I actually loose money with these people. They wont cancel my plan without making me pay for all of the phones I have on my lines and let me go back to Verizon. Do you self a favor and dont fall for their sales scam like I did. We've been with Verizon wireless for 7 yrs. No complaints about customer service or service for that matter. The price is high but I'd rather pay more and know my phone will work as It needs to.Was this review helpful to you?
I've had only about 3 dropped calls but the data service is horrible. Sometimes it is as slow as dial-up and other times it will just lose a connection sometimes for hours. Customer service has been of no help. Completely useless.Was this review helpful to you?
