There is absolutely no coverage in Iraan, TX. You cannot get reception on AT&T (Cingular), Alltel, T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint anywhere within the town. Your only hope is to travel to the top of the Yates Field (large oil field) which has many cliffs and mesas. Even on top of the highest points you will still only get one, maybe two, bars and call quality is the pits. Your best option is to get a cradle in your truck with a booster and external antenna (but these are pricey). Cell reception ceases to exist about 6 miles outside of town in all directions.
