Alltel Simple Freedom is the way to go for best coverage in rural areas. I get solid reception south and east of Temple. But not sure about the Gomer infested sewer pit called Rogers. There is an Alltel tower there now, so may be ok. Was not able to use cell in Taylor because of interception congestion of a Verison tower. Also went on roam a very short gap around Granger.
