T-Mobile has really improved over the years. Back in 2005, they had terrible coverage in north and east Lubbock, even having no service at times. Today, you will have great service in the all the city of Lubbock aside from basements and a few buildings. But if you're driving, you'll have at least 4 bars but usually 5, and with great call quality. But if you must have service in a basement or in a building that blocks signal, choose AT&T or alltel. They always have service in the places where T-Mobile signal degrades. The only thing that sucks about T-Mobile is that they have no 3G. The only carriers that offer high speed data in Lubbock is Alltel with EVDO and AT&T with 3G.

No complaints. When calling Amarillo, I get a delayed echo at times which is hard to listen to.

Solid call quality in my house and around town. I want to like Cingular but calls were always broken up. Not so with Sprint.

I very rarely drop calls, except in some of the shops in the mall. The service usually works well in the rural areas and small towns not served by the big carriers. The only complaint is the poor voice quality that I get sometimes, but this is mainly due to the "crystal clear digital" system that all the carriers use and the effects that call congestion have on it.

Cingular works very well here in west TX. Was with Cellular One previously, and their coverage was very poor. I could be sitting in my living room with 5 bars showing, and as soon as I place a call, it would drop to 2 bars or less. Frequent dropped calls. No such problems with Cingular.

I switched from AT&T to Boost. Good bars everywhere except at Texas Tech's building basements. AT&T definitely had way stronger service
