Cellular One

I get reception in dead areas like WHMC when others with AT&T get no signal. I have encountered few dead zones and have been very happy with the signal I get in Lufkin and Central!

Everything was fine until about a month ago..customer service said maintance was being done on local tower... terrible every since..

Verizon

I have had Verizon since the bag phones but I will have to change carriers because the reception is nil. Moving to Lufkin and having to change phone service is poor in todays technology ability. 20 years ago I bought a Verison phone there and reception was great. You are going backward. I am only 1 but you are not staying up. "Can you hear me now?????" Just letting you know that noone in Lufkin can hear you enough to keep your service.

AT&T

My service is pretty much non-exhistant. I pay for a PDA, since I can't txt, call, or browse the web 90%of the time.

Verizon

I've been with Verizon for 15 years and have traveled all over the country and have always praised about getting a decent reception almost everywhere... Untill I get hired by a company out of Lufkin, TX. I (Sometimes) get a 3G signal with 1 bar, most of the time no bars and the signal switches to 1X with no bars and kills my battery in 1 / 2 a day because of this. Come on Verizon... You can do better!

I live in a brick home and get great reception except one bedroom of house. For some strange reason that corner room has several dead spots for one of my other Sprint phones. I can travel almost anywhere and get good reception, exception is the back roads and between Lufkin-Crockett, Diboll-Livingston.

AT&T

I have used iPhone 3g 8GB (average phone bill $120+ / mth) and multiple Net-10 ($50 / mth) prepaid cells. But the issue I kept having on the AT&T network was dropped calls, and bad customer service. I have 1 bar to no reception in my house, step out the door I have 2-3 bars. After several weeks of back and forth calling apple and AT&T I was told by AT&T that I needed to cut down the trees in my yard to get recieption. I found out that I live less than 5 miles from an AT&T tower (Cingular Wireless Of Texas RSA #11 LP Tower).

very poor service in the area we needa tower in this area or I plan to switch in october when my contract is up and I have had at aand t for 15 years. I travel back and forth to dallas the service is ok till I get to alto from alto to lufkin poor

Cellular One

I have great singal where I am. I travel to dallas alot and have great reception all the way there and hardly ever lose singal. Although I will say that the customer service is horriable when u call.

Sprint

I do ok in town and out to huntington or al the way down 59. I live out on 58 and after about two or three miles out there I get nothing. Nothing Nothing. Same thing out 103 East towards lake nothing.

AT&T

Must go 1 / 2 mile to get reception even if phone shows two bars. Very broken up or drops calls. Works good in other areas. Need a better tower distribution in Lufkin Texas Very Poor

Out Hwy. 58 past dump there is no reception. But I can being going around the loop in Lufkin and have no reception also. I hate being forced into a contract that I did not choose. And I did not choose Cellularone

Very poor reception in city of Hudson (about 3 miles west of Lufkin on Hwy. 94). Cellular One makes claims that changing the SIM card will enhance calls, except there is one problem with their suggestion... the SIM card has nothing to do with how well your phone sends or receives calls. Customer service with Cell One is horrible in East Texas.

Sprint

Really bad reception all over, once you get to Diboll it works almost all the way to Houston without a dead spot.

AT&T

In Lufkin,TX city limits, I have full signal nearly all of the time. Signal drops to 3 in Bald Hill area, and to just 4 in Central area.
