AT&T
AT&T sucks at my home (and I'm retired so almost always at home). Phone displays "E" for Edge and NEVER displays 3G at home. AT&T is aware of thie "Dead Zone" but expresses no likelyhood of any immediate improvement. When my contract expires in August, I'm switching to another carrier.

Switched from Verizon which had great service for the price of Sprint. I know where the tower is and can see it but I live about a half mile from it and can't get any service in my house my phone goes to roaming on Verizon. Outside 1-2 bars but it usually calls on roaming. I wouldn't suggest switching but it's not all that bad.

Reception is terrible! Sometimes I get 4 bars, sometimes 0 bars. Needless to say, I can't reliably make or receive calls.

Reception is poor. However we just moved from Indiana where it was nil and Sprint refused to let us out of contract because their MAP showed that I should have good reception! Contract is now over and I am looking for a provider with good service in area.

Correction from prior submittal. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone on the north side of Houston.

Zero bars inside. 1-2 bars if I walk out side. I have complained until I am blue in the face. The service in my area is awful. They tell me I am only 2 miles for a tower and I should have no problems. Right. I travel all over North Houston and the Woodlands and have spotty service at best. I would recommend this service to anyone.

On Joseph Rd connecting Nichols Sawmill and 1488 the coverage is very dicey and unreliable.

The route Nichols Sawmill / Sea Turtle Ln / Turtle Creek Ln / Doe Trails / Hickory Lane / Spencer Blvd. / Sanders Rd / Sanders Cemetary Rd / Mueschke ("the maze", as we call it) is one of the major routes from Magnolia to SH290 into Houston and the major alternative to SH249 from downtown Magnolia. With Magnolia set to explode in population in the next three years, one wonders why Nextel calls consistently drop out while traversing "the maze", especially around Doe Trails?

Every since Cingluar and AT&T merger my reception is 0 to 1 bar inside house and maybe 2 bars outside. Called Cingluar about 2 months after merge they said you need to go 2 blocks north to make call, am I suppose move my brick house to pickup a cell phone call or try different company?
