Traded my 5-year old Nokia for a new i-phone 4 hoping to get a signal in my new home. No luck... . The new phone is worse than the old. I'm told the problem is that the city of McKinney will not allow sufficient towers to be erected. This is one of the 5 best places to live in the country... if you don't need a cell phone or if you are in the foundation repair business.

In the house (Avalon subdivision), 1 bar. If I'm lucky 2 bars. Bad reception even outside the house. Dropped calls consistently. The Blackberry goes to SOS mode on a regular basis with lack of reception. T-Mobile just isn't good in this spot.

We live in the Tanglewood neighborhood. It's so bad here that when the AT&T U-verse serviceman came out to make repairs he wasn't able to get enough reception to write up his ticket and charge me for the repairs. He just wrote it off. Ridiculous!

I currently live in the Times Square at Craig Ranch development. Indoors, reception is horrible, often dropping calls. Outdoors, I typically get between 1 and 3 bars of signal strength.

I have used T-Mobile for almost 10 years. Last fall dropped calls became so frequent that I had to stop using my phone at home. I went to their store and they told me that they were working on the network. 2 months later I called the company and was told that it could be my phone (purchased from them). It has great reception at their store and other locations where businesses are located on Lakeforrest. So now I make calls while shopping. I'm looking for a new carrier.

Pretty good reception, only one dropped call in the last few weeks. Considering my phone is three years old I consider that a good track record.

In my house I get o-2 bars. There's even a spot where it says"searching cvc" and I guess that means I don't have any service in that spot. have 0-2 bars most places. 3 bars is uncommon and 4 bars is almost unheard of. five bars I've only hadt wo times.

Saddle Club at McKinney Ranch. The reception was perfect about 2 years ago. Not sure what happened. Now I'm lucky If I can talk for 20 minutes without dropping the call. That's if I'm lucky enough to have a good enough signal for the person on the other end to hear me without me breaking up.

Constant dropped calls. Even going outside to talk does not always help, I still get regular dropped calls outside. T-Mobile's website says I should get 5 bars at my house, the most I have ever seen is 3 bars which quickly drops to 2 bars and to no signal as soon as I am talking to someone.

Can call someone while in McKinney but as I travel south bound on 75, REGARDLESS OF PHONE, my phone service ALWAYS drops the call here. I have used two different versions of RAZR and just about every Nokia model known to man. Motorola products do not seem to get good reception in McKinney in general. Nokia seems to work best. Have a RAZR and hate it.

In the house I am lucky to get 1 bar. I / O Calls are garbled. Phone occasionaly does not ring and goes right to voice mail. I have to go to 720 and Lake Forest to get 3-4 bars. Calls are dropped 90% of the time.

Over the past 6 months+ my reception has gone down the toilet! For 4 years prior my receptioin was exceptional, now it is a nightmare. Tons of dropped calls, other party can never hear me, and sometimes having to powercycle to even get enough of a signal to make outgoing calls. I have also recently switched to a Samsung (2) and now a Nokia 6010. Nothing is helping!

The Cingular guy himself warned us there was no reception at this intersection. What he didn't warn us of is that your reception pretty much dies going up Eldorado once you get west of Lake Forest.
Note: We also checked reception in this area with my dad's Motorola T720 with no better results.
