It seems like every time I really need to make a call, text, or look something up, the phone does not have good enough reception. I live in Midlothian and service is literally six feet under over here. Most of the time I aytemp to call from my T-Mobile phone, an error message pops up saying," not in network." And you can forget about enjoying any type og videos because you will either not have enough signal for videos to load, or video forecloses.

reception fluctuates over the course of the day from one bar to zero bars. Installed a signal wilson booster with limited success. Still have a problem obtaining a sufficient signal from the ATT tower to boost it up at the house. No one seems to be able or willing to tell me why ATT towers in this area have such poor power output. Plan to change providers as soon as possible.

Reception inside our house is lousy. Many missed calls and many times only voicemail shows up after we leave the house. Better in front yard by the street which is 8-10 feet higher elevation than our house, about 150 feet away. Tried to explain to AT&T customer service and they tried to tell me to stay away from the microwave and computer, while I was trying to tell them I was sitting in my living room. House is normal wood frame / asphalt shingle so no metal to interfere. They said according to their map I was in a good coverage area. I said send somebody out and test it because it definitely isn't. They told me to get my phone tested, which I already had. They deny they have a problem.

I use my bluetooth headset and place my phone on a celing fan or on the fireplace mantel so I can get two bars. I had the same problem with SW bell ages ago. Things haven't changed. I can't get DSL or cable internet in my neighbor hood either. Stone age of technology for us

What a beating Cingular or "Signal less wireless" is as we call it around here in Midlothian. No signal in my home. As a self employed person my cell is my life. Switched to Cingular from Verizon and have regretted it ever since. Also get so tired of "CALL FAILED RETRY" when trying to dial. Customer service is a joke at local stores. If using your cell for business go with Verizon for sure.

In the house it is terrible! Get those skips in listening to messages. Have to go out in the back yard to have a descent talk. Also, traveling on 287 between Ennis and airport is a dead zone. T-mobile was even worse! Verizon is really nice in this area. 4-5 bars in the home anywhere!
