Both of us have phones, different ones, and we're on Sprint service. Often cannot get a signal, or if we do, the call gets dropped. Signals when good are two small bars, but usually there are zero bars. We are very close to the Rio Grande, the border with Mexico. Maybe that's part of the problem. I hope Sprint reads the comments, HA!

i have had Sprint for over 10 years with mostly no prolblems, but for the past 4 months signal has been worst all over the mission, mcallen area to the point where rarely I got to finish a call without it being droped. now I have peaple calling me and my phone never rings, I have to try multiple times to make a call and internet is sooooo slooow that it is just impractical to use. have called service multiple times but since their system reads everything is ok they say they can't do anything. this is not just with one phone, my account has 10 phones, all diferent models and makes and they all have the same problem. buyer be aware...

Sprint is really good in the valley, I get full signal through out the whole valley. Never have had a dropped call, unlike verizon, which doesn't get much signal down here. Much better then any cell phone provider out there.

Ive had cricket for about 4 months and I get ok signal. I usually get 3-4 bars outside but when indoors I get 0-2 bars of signal. Have to atleast resend the messages twice. I also get a lot of dropped calls. In some parts of school I get 2-4 bars of signal. But mostly 0 bars through out the school. Cricket only gets signal in the most random places. It usually gets full signal in 5 mile line.

Reception with T-Mobile in this portion of the city is great, no drop calls and always three bars. Service at the University or the Mall is non existent inside most buildings.

Reception at home is horrible. Many drop calls. For below average service I must be near a window and in the second floor. Internet service is mediocre, being slightly better than dial up. Calls elsewhere are perfect, especially at UTPA and North McAllen. Service inside stores and the Mall is average.

I started with T-Mobile in March and had maybe one or two bars at most. As of late June / early July I started getting 4-5 bars so I get a perfect signal as they put a tower up a few blocks away..Thanks T-Mobile T-Mobile Cust Care Rep
