T-Mobile
Data is almost always LTE, but voice calls drop 90% of the time. Just 1-2 bars.

I'm fine with coverage everywhere but here at my brother's house. I cannot get or make calls. Texting and internet are really good but no phone coverage.

I get no reception in my house. I get poor reception in my back yard or front drive way. But who wants to go out side in the Texas heat just to talk in the phone. There is also a few dead spots when I am driving though the neighbor hood. It's turned into a joke with people I talk to regularly. When my call drops, they text me and say, well I lost you, you must be home. Honestly this is not funny, and this is unexceptible. I've been with AT&T for over 10 year, but when I can't get service in my own house, and AT&T chooses not to do anything about it, it's time to switch.

I have two houses in Missouri City, one in Quail Valley and the other in LakeShore Harbour. Reception at both houses is overall very good. There are a few dead spots in some sections of Quail Valley but I know they are working on it because they are adding a cell tower in Quail Valley.

No service in any room of my apartment with a regular iPhone 6. One bar only in LR, which fluctuates in and out of service (same for patio), which is only enough to send and receive text messages, if it's working at all. Sitting in parking lot, two and sometimes three bars if the phone is held up (not on lap). AT&T wants to charge you to "boost" the signal by using high-speed internet service to your apartment, which I don't plan on getting, and there is no guarantee it will work (though a friend said she knew someone who convinced AT&T not to charge him to avoid losing him as a customer). This is not an option for me as I don't have internet at home and don't plan on getting it (service through enTouch). I'm waiting for my portable Karma WiFi device to arrive (YourKarma DOT com) and will use that for internet unless it proves too costly, then will get monthly service (though I doubt it). Karma is a pay-as-you-go service with costs similar to monthly plans. Presently trying to figure which cell phone provider to switch to. One person told me that T-Mobile is good for my area, but on this forum, others say it's not great. Same person said that Sprint has great coverage but horrible customer service. My contract with AT&T expires in Aug., and was planning on going to a pay-as-you-go plan as I bought the phone myself, so looking for same option in new provider.

Rarely have more than one bar. Thought it was my iPhone 4 so I upgraded to the iPhone 6. Things are not any better. Have missed very important calls due to poor cell service. Sienna needs another tower NOW.

Lived deeper in Sienna near Ridgepoint HS for over 9 years. Cell reception in 2 story house was never an issue. 3 to 4 bars. Rarely dropping calls. Moved to the front (Anderson Springs) and it is atrocious. One bar just about anywhere in the house. Max 2. I agree. ATT and others need another tower in between wherever. High end homes being built (Riverstone, Sienna) all around. Demand is increasing rapidly. Should be an easy fix, albeit expensive and inconvenient to the big boys...

I have been with Sprint and T-Mobile and both have poor reception inside Sienna Plantation. But same for Entouch cable and a rep told me that it's from poor or wrong cable wiring set up in Sienna. So maybe a similar issue also that may be causing interference with wireless phone service. We paid a lot of money to live in a nice community but it's like living in the dark ages out here when it's comes to connectivity - so consider yourself warned.

I made the above review about Sprint. I switch to Cricket, and it has terrible reception. I can at least talk for a little while if I stand in one spot in front of my house (without moving). Once I enter Sienna Plantation it is hit or miss whether I can talk, I can't hold a lengthy conversation with someone without the call dropping several times.

We recently moved to Sienna Plantation. Prior to moving here, I had Sprint phone service for years and years. I could not get any reception in Sienna Plantation and none in my home. My job requires me to be on call from time to time, and if I was at home or in the neighborhood, I rarely received calls. I switched to Cricket :-) because my better half's phone worked ok in the area. Mine has absolutely no reception in the house. If I stand in a certain spot outside, I can talk for a little while, and if I go walking my dog or jogging, I can get some reception. I have people over and to make a phone call they have to walk outside or up the street.
