Usually I have 1, maybe 2 bars. Sometimes a call may drop, but everything works 90 percent of the time. I've had better reception with some of my older phones but I think the major carriers have a lot of trouble seeing past the outskirts of the big cities. Some of us like open spaces, but not in our reception.

In the county you get 1-2 bars, sometimes Roaming. In the city limits you get full signal. According to the map; the cell towers are sparse in the county. Cell towers should be spaced every 5 miles. I know this because I used to work for AT&T Wireless. Titus County

With my Kyocera 7135, I have good reception in Mt. Pleasant, out at Northeast Texas Community College, and all over the region, with the following exceptions: spotty on rural roads at times--e.g. Hwy. 11 betw. Daingerfield and FM 1735, and on FM 1735 betw. NTCC and Hwy. 11--and also anytime the road dips low, such as in a couple of places between Longview and Gilmer on Hwy. 300.
