If I am in my house, I have to stand all scrunched up in front of one particular window in my room to get any reception. However, if I go outside and stand on the very edge of my porch, I can get enough bars to have a decent conversation for a good while. Fortunately for me, I get good reception where I work. My suggestion is to put your phone on call forwarding when you are going to be somewhere that you know has no recepetion. When I am on my way home, I set my phone to ring at my house if I have no cell reception. So, even though I'm not actually talking on my cell, I'm still getting all my calls. It's worth it to me because I get great recpetion everywhere else. Alltel is the best for this area, though.

No service in my neighborhood AT ALL! Only a few spots in town get a signal. you have to go south of Interstate 30 to get a signal.

No one on any GSM network gets coverage here. Coverage stops a couple of miles south of I-30. (a couple of miles north of this location)
