	ATT sucks and said new 3G tower to be turned on scheduled for 9-30-2010 it is now 11-2-2010... switching carriers soon as I'm not under contract and won't be signing up with ATT anytime in the future...

	Sometimes the reception is pretty good, sometimes horroble, mostly, with it is adequate -- with some patience.

	Yeah! "More bars in more places" really means you'll stop at more bars in more places because you're not going to be talking on your ATT phone! Seriously though, there are some places in Palacios where you can reliably make or receive a call, I just haven't found them. I have had some interesting discussions with ATT about the poor coverage. One such discussion centered around where they cell towers were located. They started out saying a tower was in town, then revised that to say 5, 10, and then 15 miles away. I finally gave up! Still lousy service! I'm changing as soon as soon as my contract is up.

	AT&T service in Palacios is not that good. It seems much better when out of the city limits but not in Bay City or near Point Comfort.
