I have AT&T (TDMA) and I have to say I have no complaints. I work in the Cayuga area and there is nothing out that way but AT&T has no problem with reception except for a few bumps going to and from Palestine.

I dont have much problem getting reception. In some places I don't get service but that is to be expected in east texas. For the most part I get better service than most do with other companies.

Got my phone in November 2010 and had no problems until a few months ago. Now I lose signal constantly after evening time and have dropped calls every night. Signal bounces back and forth between 1X and 3G. The store here is aware of the problem and said that there is a problem with the tower but when I called IT about it they said it was my phone. Called store and they told me that there was a tower issue and to disredard what IT said.

Our reception varries from no reception to 3 bars ocasionally when you really want to use it. seems like thats when it dont work. Calls sometimes go to voice mail without ever ringing and give you an alert 2 or 3 hours later.

So pitiful, Jacsonville, Athens, Tyler, all these surrounding areas and Palestine has NO 3G coverage. Shame--shame! Even Mexia has 3G coverage. Verizon is ok, just dont expect using VCAST or EVDO Internet speeds, because that will never happen.

Verizon works great in Palestine and in Tyler. There's a few spots in between where service goes out, but just for a few minutes.
