Can't seem to get anything more than 3 bars when driving around Pearland or South East Houston. Inside my home I'm lucky if I get 2 bars of signal. I also get so many dropped calls it has really made me consider switching to Sprint as soon as my contract is up later this year.

Dropped calls, "no service" at least three times a day, no bars at any given time,no reason, it happens with this phone where ever I am, just poor service,I 've had this phone 11 / 2 yrs,good service for about 3 months only.Am changing carriers this month.

I have had AT&T for many years. I am so unhappy. I can't get a good signal in my house when a friend with Verizon gets a full signal! I have until April, but I believe I will be saying so long to AT&T! Oh, my brother has an IPhone and gets the same crappy reception that I do.

Voice Coverage is great ( only been with T-Mobile for a week ) haven't had a single dropped call. But their 3G data signals are very weak if you are not close to a tower. According to the maps I am right between two Towers ( each about 1 mile away ). If I don't move my phone I can get 1-2 bars on 3G, Else its 3-4 bars on Edge. T-Mobile 3G speed is about half of what AT&T's HSDPA does too.

with AT&T I would get 2-3 Bars and HSDPA data coverage from my home. However I got dropped calls and this was the deal breaker for me, so I left for T-Mobile

I live in Pearland and cannot get a signal in my house. I work in the Galleria area and again I get maybe 1 bar if I'm lucky. I thought it may be my phone so I switched from a Sony Ericsson to a Palm Treo 750 and still I have the same problem. I called AT&T and told them about the problems I was having with their service. They told me that if enough people complain about a certain area then they will look into fixing the problem. I have been with AT&T for many years but I'm considering moving my service to Verizon. Although I hate to be bound to a 2 year contract, I hate even more that all my friend's who have Verizon can make and receive phone calls in areas I cannot. It is so frustrating!

The network is down again. Sure wish Cingular had a way to check on their network via the 'net.

Poor or no reception with Cingular service, regardless of phone model. They need to build towers instead of sales offices!

Poor reception even outside the house. Calls can rarely be maintained to completion. Most often they fail within a minute.

All calls are lost after a few seconds of conversation in my home. Have to go outside to talk. Acceptable mobile use with only occassional loss of calls. Wifes Cingular never fails in our house. I think it boils down to where the towers are and where you are in relation.

It is perfect here. However, as soon as I get into my neighborhood it drops to two bars and once in my house I get one bar and signal searches frequently.
