Cricket service isnt good in this area of Austin.

I move around daily through out Pflugerville Schools. Most of the time I can not make a call out of any of the schools although others on other networks can. This has been with three models of cell phones. Nextel finnally had to install a repeater in our main support building in order for communication.

Sometimes drops calls no matter how many bars I have. Could be the phone. I may try another. I am considering changing carriers.

This used to be a place I dropped calls, this isn't a problem anymore. I looked to my right and see that evidently Sprint or NEXTEL has put a tower up in this location. Nice job you guys. I live in the Blackhawk subdivision, used to be I had to go outside to make a call and it not be dropped. Not anymore.

Since the last posting in the Black Hawk subdivision, Sprint / Nextel has put a tower up, this occured in December. It has been populated with the cellular array in the month of May. As of June 19th, the Nextel side has been put on line with very good results. We now have coverage all over the Black Hawk Subdivision. There are no holes at all. I must commend Sprint / Nextel on listening to the request of their customers. Yes, I can think that this was in the plan all along but I also believe that the squeaky wheel gets the grease. All I know is as dissatisfied as I was with NEXTEL, I can now say, staying with them now will be a pleasure. I have neighbors with CINGULAR, VERIZON and whatever else and have been told they have very poor coverage. NEXTEL and SPRINT now have great coverage. Thank you Nextel! I've been with them for 8 years now, I'll be with them further on now... ..JR

Currently there is almost no coverage in this part of Travis county. I have to be outside my residence in order to use my phone. I called in August and was advised that there is a tower to be built two tenths of a mile from this location, that has happened although they have not populated this tower as of 4-6-06. Now in defense of Nextel, today, they have contacted me and the engineering team is working on resolving the problem.

On good days get 1 bar and get plenty of dropped calls, thought I would get better reception with a better phone upgraded from a Nokia but the service is the same if not worse.

I live at the corner of 685 and Kelly Lane in Pflugerville, Texas (also where Texas 130 and I-45) will intersect. The two large neighborhoods (Black Hawk and Falcon Pointe) have at least 2000 homes in this area, but Cingular cell phones will not work due to very poor coverage. I and many others have called but Cingular has done nothing to fix the problem. The claim we are right between two towers. Something needs to be done with so many people that live in this area and with two new Interstates opening up next year. They are loosing money because no one can use their phone.

Generally good around Austin, Occasional busy signals during peak hours. Highland Mall inside Discovery store full bars. Sprint and Nextel lucky to get 1. Had T Mobile, Nextel and Sprint, so far Cingular is better. Wife has Verizon, no complaints either. Verizon Tower 1 / 4 mile away. Picked Cingular over Verizon because of better native coverage in East Texas. Ocassional travel to Los Angeles Area. Sprint and Nextel Very poor reception as So Cal the worst in the nation for cellular reception. Will Try Cingular there and post results.
