I HATE at&t! Before they started buying every cellular company in the nation, service was very good, and could get calls anywhere and anytime. Now, 4+ years later, I can NEVER get a signal in my house, and have to stand the phone on the coffee table and put it on speaker to talk to anyone. We shouldn't be bound by their 2 year contracts, when you are unable to even make or receive calls or texts! Why isn't Congress doing something to protect us from this???

have had T-Mobile for about 14 years in several states. was moving to our new house and decided to go pay as you go until I knew network was fine. As soon as we switched, the same phone and same network started with problems galore. Worst problem: phone won't ring when folks are calling. Use it for forwarding business calls from office, so this cost us way too much. T-Mobile tech support calls have gone from denial to useless back to denial of problems.

0 - 1 bar downstairs in the house; 2 - 3 bars upstairs (notice that on walking track near golf course I get 4 bars - along Farmers Rd). Calls get dropped about 1 / 2 the time downstairs, but no drops upstairs. My wife has the same phone and has slightly worse reception than me. We have had the phones for 2 yrs now. Will stay with Sprint - they seem to be as good as if not slightly better than the others (especially upstairs).

As I am typing I get 5 bars, though crossing the house dropped the signal down to 3 bars. I've never had any dropped calls with this phone, but did have the occasional garbled digital audio. Cell phones are radio devices so they will never be 100% all of the time. Internet through phone works great even though it is not much faster than land line dial-up.
