It does not change weather inside or outside. No reception, period!

Bought Verizon service twenty some years ago and the phone five years ago. Country wide reception. Never dropped. Very happy camper. Roughly six months ago, started experiencing dropped calls. Now EVERY call is dropped in the house (no structural changes) and most are dropped if made out in the yard. Many calls to Tech service, and chats with Verizon techies in Corpus Christie, have proved useless. They claim Rockport area development is growing so fast the tower cannot keep up with demand for airspace. Probably going to switch to T-Mobile (neighbors love it) or Cricket.

I get good reception in town but at home I get terrible reception. It constantly drops calls. I only get 1 or 2 bars ever at home and that's on a good day. My son has Pocket Mobile and gets full bars and great reception at my house.

No decent reception; call reception in and out especially inside, better outside, but still very poor.

Reception in the Park is zero to very poor. Reception in the Lamar area is spotty at best.

Qwest has excellent service in Rockport. No receptions problems in any of the area's of town.

cingular really screwed up with their gsm network. The old system worked much better. Looks like they would have put up the gsm towers before they forced customers into the new network.

The signal is poor to noon.

I highly recommend anyone considering Verizon in south Texas to reconsider, especially if you travel off the main roads. They have poor coverage off the main roads. They roam on US Cellular (old analog) and half the time you cannot get a signal, especially west of Three Rivers Texas and south of Freer. Cingular works better there. I have tried both and am much happier with the new Cingular GSM.
