Reception around the city is okay when it comes to data. But I have dropped calls, can't connect to data at times. This and the phone shows a -98 or 3 bars signal. Also being on LTE or 4G seems to not help either. T-Mobile talks a lot of fluff and will say that there helping you out with your issues, but it seems to me that- T-Mobiles towers are over subscribed. Too many people using the few T-Mobile towers that's in San Antonio. Was this review helpful to you?
Since October 2015 I have been periodically reporting to Sprint that the LTE / LTE+ data speeds are unusable at certain times in 78230, 78257 zip codes. Voice and texts work fine. I have spent hours going to the Sprint store on De Zavala Rd twice to have them run diagnostics on my phone (phone tests fine), tweeting to Sprint Customer Care, calling Sprint Care for troubleshooting and finally calling Sprint Executive Offices and reporting the issue. They now have a ticket open for engineering to go out into the field and do some testing. The ticket has been open for three days now so we will see what happens. Bottom line is that if I had not been pushing the issue I wonder how many months or years it would have taken for Sprint to fix the issues? Was this review helpful to you?
Speedtest.net Android app: 40-60 mbps download and 6-16 Mbps upload. At my house on Woodlawn Ave near Fredericksburg Rd 14-20 Mbps down and 5-8 up. Band 41, Sprint Spark. LTE Discovery app to see what band. No dropped calls in a year. Speeds have been consistent and far better and more reliable than T-Mobile. 😒Was this review helpful to you?
Initially, early 2015, reception was very good however approximately 9 mos later started having problems re: lots of beeping and people I call asking " are you there, can you hear me ", then they hang up or call drops. I've called Verizon techs to no avail. Thinking of going back to Sprint however more expensive !Was this review helpful to you?
The services do not operate in the hill country. but it's pretty good in the North San Antonio area. Not in the South side around 1604 and 37.Was this review helpful to you?
I have had Sprint for a couple of years and we moved to San Antonio from Chicago a few months back and the service is horrible, and they have a crap ton of hidden fees we are spending $280 a month for horrible service, and horrible customer service. Stay away from Sprint they are full of it, they are over priced for what they provide.. We are ditching out on them and going to AT&T..Was this review helpful to you?
Reception is close to perfect. We never drop calls and have been very happy with our cell phone service. We previously had Sprint and continuously dropped calls, even after getting a tower. Uverse is another story. Was this review helpful to you?

Dropped calls, failed calls, premium prices, poor customer service, numerous lies and runaround, phone shut off while traveling to Alaska. Misinformation. No matter what the map says they don't have service in Alaska or Hawaii. More lies one after another, after another. I have had enough of this. After 18 years, I am leaving Sprint and going to another carrier. Have one more month and contract is over. I can't wait to leave. Service has become worse since they were sold to a Japanese company. Yes Sprint is now owned by a Japanese company. Was this review helpful to you?
