I had Cingular when I first got here to Texas and the phone couldn't hold a signal to save its life. T-Mobile uses sames towers / technology so they were out. I heard that Sprint and Verizon used the same CDMA networks so it came down to a matter of price. I found the plans at Sprint to be cheaper and the phones were a great deal, so I have them a chance and haven't had a single dropped call. The coverage is awesome, the phone is awesome (Samsung's version of a RAZR), and I would highly recommend them where coverage is bad with other carriers. Oh and the internet is BLAZING FAST.

I've had t-mo for years, in SA, Universal City, and now Selma. I also drive all around town and surrounding areas for work. Very few dropped calls, on average less than once a month. I do always try to stay updated with the nicest phones- this seems to help a lot. I must note that data service is spotty at times, some areas it's great, others suck. Plus I've heard that t-mobile's data service isn't as fast as Sprint or verizon... Still it's hard to give up on unlimited everything with no contract, all for around 80 bucks a month.
