three years ago, 2007, At&T added a tower in the area and my reception improved so much I dropped my land line with them and just had my AT&T cell. Now we're back to very poor reception, frequently no signal or not enough of one to have a reliable connection during a call. Am probably going to have to go back to a landline... very disappointed, AT&T used to be the one wireless you could count on in my neck of the woods! Anybody have a better wireless option for the Pine Valley Loop neighborhood?

Worked great in a mobile home 100 ft from new house. Now can't get a signal in the house most of the time.

I have had Verizon since moving here 4 years ago. I have been very dissatisfied with ther coverage in this area. I live approx. 100 yards off the freeway and get 1 bar reception... maybe! They shouldn't advertise that they have service in this area or produce brochures showing coverage all the way down Hwy. 71. I thought it was just theses cheap LG's I have been getting but I guess not.

verizon has been my choice for over 25+ yrs in the Houston area. Now that I am in Smithville. What a disappointment. I have been spoiled. Does any cell phone work here?
