Looks like most people with ATT have issues in The Woodlands. Its getting worse. Drop calls happen from panther creek down woodlands parkway. Service near the mall? Forget it. What is the issue? I had better reception on vacation in Puerto Rico.

It is hard to believe that in 2012 in a major metro area that AT&T can't have a signal of more than 1 bar at our house near Buckalew Elementary. We only get EDGE most of the time and not 3G. They did give us a Microcell after they groused about it. It helps some in the house but you cannot go in the yard to talk with o dropping a call. Data usage? Forget it. Awful. Also, I work in downtown Woodlands next to the Marriott. I get no signal at all inside our office and even when I walk outside near Hubbell and Hudson it shifts between 1 bar and no signal. Hard for me to believe. We have had AT&T for 10 years but since moving here in June, the writing is on the wall: going to Verizon as soon as our contract will allow! My guess it that The Woodlands Township is as much to blame as AT&T as they probably aren't allowing towers to be built! HELP!

No reception, constant dropping of calls and I have an MCell, which the phone will not pick up when I get home unless I turn it off and back on. Have been to the Apple Store 3 times for this issue. They say it is just the poor reception in The Woodlands.

actually often zero to 1, occasionally 2. In the past, it was 1 to 2 but some guests were unable to call out. Now it's worse. I work from home sometimes and this is not acceptable. I am a long time customer and have a family plan for five - but not for long if this continues.

Nov 2011. What happened? All over The Woodlands my cell phone signal is bad or zero. It's lots worse than it used to be. All my iPhone friends are complaining too.

1 bar of reception in home. Have to walk outside to find signal when I want to talk for more than 1 minute, do a handstand, and some days a cartwheel too to carry on a phone conversation. Pain for friends and family who visit who have AT&T. Funny how I don't need a land line because I have a cell phone that can work anywhere... oh, no, nevermind, I don't have a land line or a cell phone that works at home, ridiculous... .. Also, virtually no service of any kind most of the time in the Panther Creek Shopping Center???

I have to put the phone on both 3G / 2G. There is a tower with in 3 miles of me and reception is terrible! Right near I-45 / Sam Houston, I always drop calls! Contract is up in January and so am I. Please keep posting on here so I can get good information on my next carrier.

Great service when I was in Las Vegas.. Almost always full signal and even if it was not, I still had a fast connection. The best non-smart phone I have ever had. Over all, I will be switching to another provider once the contract is up. Thinking Sprint or Straight Talk... (nearly half the cost). Over all though, I would give the phone and the service a Solid 3.

I've had it with AT&T. I've been with them (Cingular) since 2002 and up until a year ago, the service was great. Always had full bars and NEVER had dropped calls. Now I can't even talk to someone (either cell or landline) for 2 minutes before the call drops. I know it's not my phone because when I travel to anywhere outside the Houston area or the state I get the same great signal I've been used to all these years. They need to upgrade their cell towers here in The Woodlands quick or I'm going to Verizon. Everyone I know couldn't be happier with them.
