ATT keeps blaming this on a tower being unavailable due to Water Tower Maintenance. I have always had poor tower reception here but lately it is even worse. 1Bar and sometimes no bars and a red phone with slash on it. ATT needs to send someone here to analyze this situation. I do not plan to renew contract.

We have no bars inside our house and have to go outside to use the phone. This has been going on since the end of February. I have been asked if there has been any construction in my area, and I said no, but after looking at this tower map, the tower is right next to where they just completed an overpass. So I do not know if that construction had something to do with the reception for AT&T.

Just moved to Texas City, TX and my call reception has been very poor. Prior to moving I used this same phone in a rural area 20 miles outside of Memphis, TN had better call quality with even less number of bars. Out of 8 calls, I have to make recalls, due to call being dropped. Upon recall attempt, I get the multi-tone error basically unable to attempt a re-dial for the next 15-30 secs. It's not the phone since my wife has similar issues. In addition, my mother-in-law had multiple drop calls and she is with a totally different cell vendor. Internet seems somewhat reliable, though it does have it's moments in which it cannot make the connection.

I have had no drop outs or bad signal issues with Cingular. (unlike Sprint) The entire city is covered well.
