Another Stewarts Penninsula deal... Poor service or no reception what-so-ever. The phone may ring if I get an incoming call. But forget trying to talk. Choppy, or drops all together.

Signal jumps from 1 bar to 5 then back to 3... GSM technology is confusing and calls can get kind of choppy... I guess its because of the ammount of traffic that goes through that area.

House Northeast of intersection in The Colony towards lake Lewisville(elevation is down from Main). Terrible reception. Dropped calls and phone will actually switch to 'ROAM' at times. When on Main or HWY 121 phone works fine.

This phone needs to be removed from the market. Drops calls consistantly anywhere in Dallas / Fort Worth.

Bars on the phone say I should get decent reception, but driving through this stretch of road each day, my calls drop again and again and again. Perhaps a cellular technician can ride with me one day; I'm happy to point out the bad spots! Sadly, after reviewing the posts above, it seems almost everyone else has the same problem in this "far north" area. That said, I'll pay as little as possible for what amounts to shoddy coverage, seemingly regardless of provider. However, my phone hardly works at home (Windhaven and Saintsbury; thank goodness for landline), and service is only marginally better in my office in Las Colinas, despite being on the 17th floor!

I just switched from T-Mobile to Cingular due to a promotional deal on family time. The service in the area is ok but many dead spots. I have minimal reception in my home and the stretch of road on Blair Oaks Dr. between Nash and North Colony Blvd.virtually disappears from 3 bars to none. It is frustrating that reception can disappear that fast in a couple of 100 yards.

This is a very busy road at rush hour and Verizon keeps up with the load. Excellent service.

For the past several months, when I pick up my daughter from school, as soon as I drive to the back of the school - no reception. The bars drop and will not come back until I get a block or so away from the school. I can't receive or make a call. Also, there are other places in The Colony, TX and Denton, TX where our calls drop constantly. I've dialed *228 and chose option #2 with my Verizon Wireless service (it is supposed to automatically update the coverage areas to your phone). We'll see how this works. Our family has 3 phones with Verizon, and all 3 drop calls! I had AT&T a few years ago and couldn't even use those phones in the house -- no signal.
