I have always had a near perfect connection with AT&T, and now that 4G LTE is in Tyler, it just got better!

5 Out of 5 (5 stars) | The Shores Neighborhood | Rockwall TX, Tyler, TX 75707 |

T-Mobile has really shown improvement in the Rockwall area. I have to say T-Mobile is now the best in The Shores Neighborhood and surrounding area. No other carrier gets a signal inside my house besides them. Not even to make a call(clear).

Spotty connection while in the car in this area. Calls are commonly dropped while driving all along Old Jacksonville from Fresh to Gresham. Reception is also bad in the nearby neighborhoods. Reception at home is spotty. I have to leave the phone out of my pocket to get reception. If I move the phone too much then I lose reception or the call is dropped.

Sprint is the worst cell phone company currently on the market. I pay over a hundred dollars and barely get reception. Of course Sprint has unlimited data... .but it's unlimited because you barely use it with the mediocre reception received. Don't switch to Sprint or even sign a contract with them. I'm pissed off I still have 2 years left with them. FML

I'm pretty happy with T-Mobile. I love the unlimited data and tethering to my Chromebooks. I calculate I'm paying $40 less than similar plan on Verizon. Customer service is MUCH better than AT&T to whom I will never return. With T-Mobile I have no surprises except 4G coverage is almost as fast as my Suddenlink cable service

The reviews were all a bit old, and T-Mobile now offers 4G service in the Tyler area. In the month that I have had the service, I have not been able to receive or make a single call. Data is extremely slow when it works at all. It takes several minutes for a webpage to load. Video has no chance. Three thumbs way, way down.

Used ATT for years. It worked great when we lived in north Texas and works great here all over east TX. Tried Verizon for a month and it worked great here in Tyler, but from my son's home in Nacogdoches Verizon would not get good reception when we traveled outside of the loop there. At this date after all my research I have to say go with ATT. I think in the next 2 years Veroizon will make leaps and bounds, but in the smaller communities, at this time, ATT is better. We live near Swan lake.

I have been living in Tyler for two years and I haven't really had too much problem with my phone here. I can now even talk in Wal-mart and I was unable to do that even in Dallas when I lived. I am a satisfied T-Moble customer and I have been for the past 9 years

Drops calls constantly no matter where I am in Tyler or when I am driving between Tyler and Texarkana. I loved Sprint in Florida, but here in Texas, It SUCKS!

here at the mansions there is a very poor reception inside the apartments no matter who your carrier is. I was told by Verizon that if I change to one of the smart phones my reception will improve. I am planning to do so...

At first I was having problems, I called Tech Support and they gave me the "Hybrid PRL Code" and now everything works great! He said my phone was pulling off a father away Verizon tower, so he gave me that code thing so I would get service from the Alltel tower. I love Verizon! I will never go back to AT&T.

Alltel became Verizon Wireless here. I ported over from AT&T and Verizon works great. It also seems to pick up better then Alltel did. Verizon said they have updated the towers of Alltels. They said to do *228 option 2 for new updates. Very happy with the switch!

Landline phones here are a must! No one (that I'm aware of) gets good cell reception inside their apartment... AT&T, Verizon, it doesn't matter!

Landline phone is a necessity here! No reception inside the apartments... Verizon, AT&T... doesn't matter. Everyone has to go outside to talk on their cell.

AT&T is a joke. I wouldn't even waste my time trying them out. Just switched to Verizon and love it.

They have opened up the Verizon store here in Tyler. I had some friend switch over from AT&T to Verizon and they said it was great. I switched and I love the service. AT&T could only get maybe 1 bar inside my house. It wasn't even 3G even though the map says 3G. Very happy I switched. I will be doing one on AT&T now.
