I don't have or get any service in my house. But when I go outside, I get about half a bar but wish ya'll would please fixed this problem as soon as possible. Thank-you!

Other folks phones work south of Waskom except mine. This Samsung phone was recommended as best in reception for the money. I contacted Alltel / Verison for advise on better phone reception and got nowhere. They offered another phone at for $150.00 charge to try with no guarantee of better service. They advertise 30 day free exchange if not satisfied but have a $35.00 restocking fee! Looks like if they sell you a contract and phone and you can't get coverage, they have not fulfilled their part of the contract and it should be canceled!

I am so glad to hear that other Cingular / AT&T customers are having the same problems I am. Cingular doesn't act like they know what is going on. They are very adiment that it is my problem and not there's. I haven't been able to use my phone in this area for ~2 months. Still looking for another provider and will hopefully be able to get out of my contract. I would not recommend ANYONE in this area to use Cingular / AT&T!

Today I called Cingular and after being tested, I was finally transferred to a 2nd level tech who told me that they didn't re-up their contract with T-Mobile for their tower use - which is why we are no longer getting service from them. He explained it cost them more money to service us through their towers than they made from us. He said they were hoping to have new towers starting in July but hopefully for sure by the end of the next two years. He immediately began the paperwork necessary to let me out of my contract so I could switch to Alltel. He said most people were switching to them in my area.
