From HWY 3 to 45 along Bay area BLVD I get dropped calls, no serivce, the works. At home I get 1 bar where in december 2010 when I signed up for service I had 5 bars, one month later this is what I get. At work Bay Area BLVD and Gulf FRWY I get 3 bars, but with an o where 3G should be. I think that all of Webster has 3G issues, because I will often switch to E, often when I really need to use the internet of course.

The combination of Sanyo 3200 and Sprint service caused us to experience 6 months of hell. Only after we changed to LG Rumor did things improve. Sanyo kept cycling trying to find the best tower / network which kept causing call interruptions and missed calls and no service. This also killing the battery. Sprint was lazy as usual and did nothing to fix the problem. Funny thing was when I set the mode to "Roam only", I was put on Verizon's network and never had issues. Can't wait to switch to Verizon. Only CDMA 800 works in this area. Don't be fooled by the Sprint coverage maps which show this area to be lush green (Best coverage), Its not!

I don't have much problem with sprints coverage. Inside buildings is crap though in office buildings but I feel thats normal. Customer service is really bad. So bad that I hate to even call them. I am tired of talking to people from India. Every once in a while I get a call from a local customer and ROAMING rates apply and he is in houston also.?????

At home (on El Dorado) I get average reception. On Bay Area Blvd.the reception is 'iffy' and I always drop calls near Bay Area park. At work (Bay Area at Red Bluff) I am lucky to get one bar of signal - terrible. Ever since Sprint took over Nextel my reception has sucked!

Verizon is okay from my home and in most cases, however, during the recent weather crisis in Houston - Hurricane Rita - I basically lost all functionality no matter where I was in the greater Houston area. This was not the case with T-Mobile - they performed perfectly throughout - just as when the situation is normal. Seems Verizon has oversold their capacity for service if / when everybody is calling at once.
