This Samsung is like all the others. Almost perfect in reception and the best phone I've ever had. A huge improvement over the Verizon / Lg phone I used to have. Never once heard of anyone having a problem with a Samsung, unless if its the users fault. I used to work for a cell phone company and this is the best phone, and service, Im extremely satisfied.

I am very impressed with the Sprint network. Its so much better than Verizon and other companies inside the buildings. All my friends loose their signal inside the buildings except me. Very very good, I highly recommend!

I was a former AT&T customer and switched to Cingular a month ago. I have better reception than before. In my home office, I formerly had 1 bar and had to stand next to a window to talk with a person on the phone. With Cingular Orange, I have 4-5 bars and I no longer have to leave my chair to talk to people( although I stillfind myself pacing around the house on a call out of habit).

The closest cell tower in the center of city is only 21 meters above ground level. Then all other towers are positioned all around outer radius of city with the next closet being about miles 2-3 away which is a 154 Meters above ground level. The 21M tower seems a very short.

I live near Burkburnett Rd, by Sheppard AFB. I get full bars all around my house and the base. Reception is excellent. Inside my work building downtown, I get maybe 2-3 bars, but still works good. I don't travel much into rural areas, so I can't comment on rural coverage. T-Mobile coverage has been very good in Wichita Falls,TX. Only a few minor deadspots here and there.

I can actually see the towers from my house and never am able to get more than three bars. Incoming callers cannot hear well, and phone is ALWAYS cutting out. I have to maintain a land line for them to call back on. Kind of defeats the purpose of this phone! I'll never buy a Samsung again.

We "upgraded" from our AT&T wireless TDMA plan to the Cingular GSM plan to get a new phone and better coverage, and more minutes. The result has been very disappointing. Depending on where we are in the house, we get 2 bars to no coverage at all.

In the whole city there has never been one time that I have had 5 bars. Cingular just bought all of ATT's towers too. I have better luck with a knock off provider like Amerilink or US Cellular.
