4-5 bars is very common for me. I've been happy with T-Mobile for 6 years. I may switch if AT&T takes over though.

does anyone know anything about the new Verizon tower on fm 1097 east by the valero..idk if its 3g or 4g

As long as we are outside of any buildings within a 2 block radius, I get okay signal, around 3 bars. Once we go inside ANY building, signals drops to only being able to make texts, and the texts can only be one page worth, no media can be sent or received. and phone calls are a joke. the only way you can have signal inside is if you have a AT&T microcell in the building. I live in Willis, by Rose Rd. of 1097.

I changed carriers from Verizon to be able to talk to my sister who was on At&t.The service was Below Average in the winter months, no leaves on trees. Now that it is Spring very poor reception. I was told by a Service Rep that I should not have even been sold service out here. When I got to the Supervisor, however he disagreed.He told me that they did not guarantee service. Of course now I have to pay out of contract. I will also be complaining to the PUc and Ag of Texas.

although the map online, shows service, the phone can't last 15seconds and the bars go away. After the first year, I ask to be let out of the contract because of no reception at my home and they did without charge.

No reception with Sprint / Nextel, Verizon or At&t. TMobile works in the house and yard. I can surf the web on my phone. I tell all the neighbors that complain about reception. I tell them, get Tmobile. Very happy.

My previous analog phone got very poor reception but my current RAZR gets great reception. I am located on a ridge top which makes a big difference. nearby neighbors living downhill from me get very bad reception from all providors. There is a cell tower in view from my front door but it is not AT&T. The AT&T store's online map shows me 1 / 2-way between towers. This region is hilly so there are many areas that get poor reception only due to being below line of sight to nearby towers.

I must leave the house and go into the middle of the street to get very spotty reception. No reception in the house.

5 bars of signal! Last year I had a Motorola V710 and it worked good too.

Reception Outside fine. No reception inside house untill I installed a signal booster from Five-Bars Wireless. Now I get 5 Bars inside my home.
