I have AT&T but a lot of area has no signal. So I try Sprint but it's worse than at&t. I drove Hwy. 154 W. from Gilmer and FM 2869 n. toward Winnsboro. A lot area AT&T had least 2-3 bar but Sprint had 0. I should study more before I got new phone. Verizon has better signal?

No reception in our house, have to go outside and then get drop calls... ..reception worse since Verizon took over the Alltel coverage in our area south of Winnsboro in the Perryville area..

I only get reception in town.. and it is O-kay.. I don't care for the tower just being up the hill from my parents and yet not getting any signal at their house. Wood county co op sucks. They don't want to share any towers with att, or anybody for that matter.

I have no trouble in Winnsboro or Mt Vernon. I used to drop svc on hwy 37 coming home from Mt Vernon but updated my phone to a new one and dont have that problem anymore... not sure around the lakes as I dont get down there too much. Have no trouble except at the intersection in Mt Vernon at hwy 37 and interstae 30. no signal unless you get a 1 / 4 mile away in any direction for some reason. Also have good signal in Mt pleasant of course and 98% of anywhere else so far as I know.

One bar at best. Signal booster installed with antenna roughly 20 feet up from ground level gives 3 to 4 bars but get a disconnect / drop without any warning even with 3 to 4 bars.

IN Calling Plan works in digital mode through VZW Extended Network. Shows 1x and usually 1-3 bars. Voice Mail can be picked up, although I sometimes get Peoples Cellular instead, so I have to redial. This does not matter since Verizon Wirelesss service is provided through an agreement with Peoples Cellular, so there are no additional monthly charges. Note: TXT / PIX messaging do not work.
