Have been with (cingular ) AT&T for years, always had fairly good coverage on my ranch south of Woodsboro on the Aransas River. A month or so after Cingular bought out AT&T and changed the name to cingular,we began to notice that we had lost service in areas where we had always had service.We stayed with Cingular hoping they would fix the problem. Now,they are AT&T again,guess what,now the area of my ranch shows up on their maps as a poor or no service area.We can still on a good day use AT&T at our headquarters if we stand in the right spot.What a deal,thats what we get for being loyal to a cellular company.I have 8 phones on my accts most of which are used in other places besides here,so I had to go out and buy 2 Verizon prepaid phones for my foreman and me to use while on the ranch. By the way AT&T customer service truly SUCKS!

AT&T leases space on a tower owned by american Tower on ny property on the South side of Woodsboro. Everything was good until they put up new antennas in july08 now my phone,along with the 8 others on my account,and at least 20 other customers that I have daily contact with are getting poor service in areas where service was good before the tower work. I have always been able to make calls from inside buildings in Woodsboro,now if it works it is a terrible connection.I can see the tower from my house and get constant jumping in signal strength,average 3 bars. also use AT&T wireless on my laptop from home,need to stal near a window to get over 3 bars. Have emailed back and forth with AT&T customer support,they say it is our phones,not their system.(BULLSH***). Was told by last email on Aug 9th that a company rep would call me.Still waiting as of the 16th,maybe the rep needs to get Verizon or Sprint so he can call me.
