For Cingular TDMA: Dead spot where I live, natch; calls possible only from certain spots in the house, and only if you don't move (Can you hold while I stretch for a sec?). There seems to be another dead spot at 30th E and 30th S, probably many others as well. Otherwise coverage is pretty OK. I frequently drive from SLC to Boise and coverage is decent, but you're unlikely to complete a long call without at least one drop and of course there are dead spots. Caveat: the above is for TDMA; I tried GSM in the summer of 2004 and it was ASTOUNDING how bad it was. Utterly unusable. I wonder about the mindset of executives who roll out a 'service' that they must know is pathetic. Backed off from (then) AT&T GSM lightning fast and have refused to commit to a contract since.

This is the weakest location I have found with Sprint. I usually see 5 bars and here I see 3 and sometimes 2, but even here the phone seems to work, I can understand and be understood when I call. I do not drive and talk so I cannot comment on dropped calls when traveling, but I have not had a dropped call yet in offices and at home. Coverage up I-15 from Midvale to Odgen is excellent, usually 5 bars.
