Switched to Verizon when AT&T got so bad with the gsm. Verizon worked great everywhere. 2.5 years later Verizon is getting as bad as at&t. Verizon has alot of analog coverage, but all their new phones are digital only. Seems you can't have all the lastest gadgets (mp3, better cameras) and still use the phone for what it was intended for.

I thought I had great coverage (had ATT&T) for 2 years now. I'm getting frustated with the fact that my reception in my house is terrible (I just moved from harrison and 36, now i'm at quincy and 36th).

Service began with 2 and 3 bars in 2009 on a 3G phone. It has declined in 2011 to mostly 1 and 2 bars. T-Mobile blames the phone - but in Salt Lake reception on the same phone is a great solid 4 bars. Others with T-Mobile phones also have reduced reception in the area. I have never seen 5 bars... does that really happen? P.S. to T-Mobile: Ogden is the 2nd largest city in Utah.

I usually get good reception around town and the rest of the state, but my neighborhood sucks! I fluctuate between no reception and poor reception in my neighborhood. Dropped calls and missed calls are killing my social life!

No reception at Weber State. Average of 3 bars everywhere else. Do not get Cingular. Customer service sucks. Lived in WA before moving to UT, every time you switch phone numbers or anything else for that matter, they give you a whole new account number. Then they hound you for money on each account number. VERY POOR CELL and CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will be leaving when my service contract is up (in a month) thank goodness.

The digital signal seems to be ok on my friends phone (older). On my GSM phone the service is terrible, I have to keep my phone in the window sill to get calls! Even outside sometimes I have to "point" my phone. Glad this contract is over.

We moved here from Florida and we have a Cingular Nation Plan which we wanted to keep until we got to Utah and saw how bad the signal is! We are considering Nextel, if cingular doesn't get going they're going to loose a lot of customers.

Little to no reception at my house or on my street. Even when reception exists, it's so broken up a conversation cannot take place. If I go down the next street towards Combe Rd. Reception improves to Perfect as I reach Combe.
