have 4 / 5 bars on ph with 3G in my apt. 5 / 5 bars outside also 3G. Good reception when about town.

When I'm in my front room, or even out in a field, I get very poor reception with Verizon. They charge way too much for the poor reception they give.

My wife (v551), my son (slvr), my daughter (nokia 3120) and I (v3 razr) all do just fine with our service. All our phones seem to work fine even when we are talking from our basement. We use gsm phones. We are in our 4th year with them. I commute from cedar hills to central orem for work and never have any issues at all. Guess we are lucky as many on this site seem to hate Cingular service. The only place I have ever dropped calls is as I go over the point of the mountain. I must admit that customer service is lacking as others have stated, way too long on hold with mediocre results (Our phones are on a business contract... dont know if that makes a difference) Thats my two cents

I used to have Cingular / ATT Wireless. It was horrible. Along the freeways, it's okay. But along the benches, it dropped calls all the time. I frequently had to ask people to repeat themselves as it would cut out. Being available by phone 24 / 7 for customers, this is not good. Since changing to Verizon, I have not had a single problem. Never use Cingular unless you are forced. I had my wife just get out of her Cingular contract and get a Cricket. Even that works better! Too funny!

I love Verizon. It works everywhere. The customer service is indescribably good.
