NO RECEPTION whatsoever no matter how many bars you have, its weird. Alot of things here are strange, especially when its electrical!

Area in and around Snow Canyon High School, the Santa Clara Branch of the Washington County Library north to Entrada Golf Course is excellent. Test mode of phone typically gives signal strength readings of -75 to -77 at all times. Excellent call quality.

Now that both my wife and I have smart phones it sure would be nice to have 4g service. What's the hold up? I understand the infrastructure is in place just not turned on. T mobile sales would go thru the roof. Verizon has gotten to darn expensive. Turn on the service. The service is good but could be perfect.

Generally very good reception in all of St. George with a couple of "dead" spots: Tonaquint Dr. between Bloomington and Southgate, and the pass on 1-15 between Southgate and Bloomington. We've learned not to make calls there. Worst problem is the SLOW network. All the hype about 3G / 4G phones is useless in St. George because the best we have is Edge. When will we ever get network speeds that even justify smartphones?

Haven't had any problems with service in St. George or the surrounding areas toward Hurricane. In driving into Arizona on I-15, I kept service with AT&T while my uncle who has Verizon lost service for most of the time. Love AT&T!

I just spotted a New Cingular Tower out by the new ball park and The intermediate school off of Rachel drive. Oddly enough I was getting a -40 near this tower on my KX-16 and I have Alltel. The equipment has the Cingular logo on it. Why would I get good service from a GSM tower when I have CDMA?

I get wonderful coverage throughout my area with Alltel. Recently they acquired CellOne here in the lower half of Utah. So I ported my number from Sprint to Alltel. Running both phones around town I get fair coverage with Sprint, but up on Turtle Rd.(Red Hill / Snow Canyon Parkway) my Sprint fades away but my Alltel still stays strong mostly due to a tower right above the Stadium 8 theatres. By the way the Sprint towers are located right along the I-15 corridor and on Utah Hill so the Black Hill casts a coverage shadow up on where Sunset Blvd.and Bluff intersect.

I have had several different phones over the past few years and for some reason this little Kyocera phone dropped less calls than my Sanyo 5150 and Sanyo 8100 phones combined.

My reception has been fantastic with a few exceptions. If you go near or inside the Smith's supermarket building, you will have little to NO service. You also start to lose service as you head out towards Gunlock. Everywhere else, I haven't had any problems whatsoever.

No 4G yet. Reception through town is perfect no dropped calls ever. I live at the base of a mountain and only get 1x service. Not the best there.
