1 Out of 5 (1 star) | 4701 W 2100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84120 |

I've been sent on a wild goose chase. I don't blame the customer service people I have spoken with. This is clearly a service problem that Sprint as a company is unwilling to admit to. You've supposedly upgraded service in my area. Supposedly I would experience fewer dropped calls and better connection speeds. Supposedly any problems we've been having are the fault of our handsets. None of this is true. Your service has been a joke since November / December of 2013. I've never experienced so many missed / dropped calls. I was trying to take a customer service survey today via text message about my visit to the Sprint store on Saturday. I couldn't even send a one character text message to you. I tried five different times and I'm told my text cannot be delivered. These same problems have been very persistent over the past 5-6 months. I was patient because I understand it takes time to implement upgrades, but now I'm really upset because you (Sprint) are telling me the upgrades were finished in December of last year, and my problems are handset related. This is simply not true. I went to a Sprint store where they told me my phone was not experiencing dropped calls or issues with the network. I then went to an apple store where they pulled directly from my phone all of the dropped calls I have been experiencing. Much more accurate, but further diagnostics at the apple store tell me my phone is working perfectly normal, which I believe because it has been. The only variable in the equation is sprint's "service upgrade". Prior to it, my phone worked great! After, I can't use it. Battery diagnostics at the apple store say my phone is in the green, meaning good, which I believe because prior to sprints service upgrade it would last me two days before recharging. Now I'm lucky if it lasts me 4 hours. It's trying its hardest to connect to Sprint through extended networks at 1x speeds. I don't think I've had true 3G service in a few months. Of course anyone who knows anything about cell service knows that it takes much more energy for a cell phone to function this way. I have spotify and it is always "offline" because it can't connect through sprints network, Only on wifi. I try to make phone calls and it acts like its dialing for a minute then it says the call failed. My wife tries to call me and it says, "this cricket customer cannot be reached". Seriously, if it was my handset, why would Cricket be involved? And if I were the only one having problems that would be alright but it's not just me. My wife has been experiencing similar issues on her phone since she started with Sprint in November 2013. If you were in my shoes, paying full price for a service that only works half the time at best, you would be upset too. Then, when you seek help, you're told to check here then there and end up right where you started. I expect more for my hard earned money, and I doubt I'm alone. Justin

Don't be fooled by promise of unlimited data--can't hardly receive the data anyway. Reception was horrible. Sprint told us we were in the shadow, so they provided a mini transmitter that plugs into the internet. It does not work outside, and did not work well inside. Calls constantly dropped. Data reception poor. I would not NOT, use sprint. We now have AT&T and are very pleased. We can actually use our phones. Rarely do we get a dropped call or dropped data" John Watkins

This is the worst carrier ever. We cannot get any service in our house and on the very rare occasion we do get service it drops the call. I have numerous dropped calls through the day and many times my phone won't even ring but I will receive a voice mail. Called Sprint and was told that they are putting "new" towers in and reception will get better next month, however, I have been told this for the last year every time I call. They refuse to let me out of my contract and stated that I never have dropped calls and their reception is the best in the area. Also, many times when I dial out it will say "dialing" and will not actually connect my call. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY. THey are awful and it is a waste of your money and time.

I swear there used to be a Verizon tower at Trolley. Since this disappearance a year or so ago, or something else, it seems as though the local tower is unable to handle the load. I get a max of two bars for 4G. I'm often booted to 3G. Max d / l I've gotten as of late is about 2.5Mbps, and u / l about 3.5Mbps. It's pretty sad being semi close to downtown and having such poor speeds.

I have always had poor reception with Sprint. If I turn my swivel at my desk, my calls drop. If my phone is on left side of desk, won't ring, but right side it will. If I walk around the house, calls drop. Service was down 3 solid days a few months ago. I was told the servicing tower couldn't be upgraded for 4G LTE and they had to order parts to replace the tower components; no credit offered. With this "new" tower, I have even more dropped calls. Wherever I travel in the Salt Lake Valley, my calls drop. I am so sick and tired of "talking to myself" am ready to switch to another carrier, but not sure whom yet. My parents, in a nice area called "Sugar House" can't even get Sprint service, although this area is very populated with very nice shopping all around. We had to get a Sprint AirRave to run on their internet just for cell service at their home. Luckily I'm under no contract with Sprint, but torn which carrier to choose that works best in SLC, and in the Longmont, CO and Parker / Elizabeth, CO areas. Really nervous about switching and taking on a 2 year contract, but am ready to throw my Sprint phone under the car tire and hit the gas, so change is inevitable.

We live in sugar house and had no reception in our house, we had to take our phone to the street to get reception. Customer service for t mobile was horrible 3 months of the worst service and they even talked my wife into buying a new phone I phone that did not help. eventually got out of the ridiculous contract but didn't get any money back for the phone. T mobile sucks.

Lost my bars. T-Mobile is moving coverage to 4g and now I can't use my phone in my own house. I had to go out to the street to call service as my only house phone can no longer hold a call. It was explained to me the area was upgraded and I MAY see some loss of 3G signal.

Good coverage and fast speeds. :) love the wifi calling option, give you a backup in case the signal can't reach the basement or in low coverage areas. In salt lake city I rarely lose coverage and the LTE network is super fast! Plus the backup 4g is cruzing as well. I work at the big Intermountain hospital and all carriers struggle inside the building, but I always have full coverage of edge and good LTE and 4g coverage throughout most of the building. Not sure why so many 1 star reviews, but it must be their low end phone's. Hey, you get what you pay for! Love the network. :) highly recommended.

Super fast connection and great LTE coverage! Always able to make a call, text and download stuff. Indoor coverage is a little rough sometimes, but that's what wifi calling is for. When you leave the city you have an edge signal, which is perfect for calling and texting, slow data though. However I leave the city rarely, so it's not a huge inconvenience. The truly unlimited data is fantastic! I stream all my music without a problem. T-Mobile is a solid choice and has more consistent coverage in the cities than any other carrier. Rural areas are weak, but if you don't leave the city, they're perfect!

reminds me ALOT of virgin mobile in utah. As soon has you hit a basement or an enclosed area... good luck. otherwise if your outside or on an entry level, works great. Still not what is to be expected from a major carrier

Phone drops calls when at home, usually in 2 to 3 minutes. Went to Verizon this weekend, explained problem was told new phones have better antennae and bought a new one. This phone doesn't even connect the call, doesn't even ring, also doesn't send text messages. Will be taking it back tomorrow and reactivating the old one. Husband's apple Iphone works here. I guess I will have to activate long distance on our land line so that I can talk to my parents out of state without having to call them back every 3 minutes. I heard that there is no tower in Cottonwood Heights.

T Mobile has not been working today. It has been strange. I usually don't get reception in my house for whatever reason, but today I can't even get reception in the middle of the street. Getting pretty sick of T Mobile.

Starting today, I am getting either no coverage or 1 bar coverage for my T-Mobile cell phone. It barely worked for text messages which normally don't require full coverage.
