Excellent Reception, great call quality, extremely fast 4G! I've had AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile in this location. None can complete with the network quality and speed of Verizon.

I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S II phone from T-Mobile with insurance. I then switched the SIM card with my old MyTouch4G phone, so I could keep my old phone number. I was told that this would not be a problem by the people in the T-Mobile store several times. Ten days later, my new phone was stolen while I was at work. I called T-Mobile and they told me that they will not replace my phone and that the insurance policy is attached to the SIM card / phone number and not the handset. I was deceived by T-Mobile into believing that I had insurance on my phone. When I purchased my new phone I told the sales people that I wanted to get a new phone for myself and I wanted to give my old phone to my daughter. They should have upgraded my phone - which would have made it possible for me to get insurance on my new phone / SIM Card / phone number and I could have then gotten a new line for my daughter and she could have then used my old phone on the new line with a new SIM card / phone number. Then both phones would have been insured and I would now be able to get my phone replaced... But they did not do their jobs correctly and now I have to pay the price for their incompetence. They will not admit their errors and will not even negotiate with me about a replacement. Additionally, Asurion, has a $130.00 deductible on this class phone and if they don't have one like the one that is being replaced, they substitute a different model. My claim was turned down three times for three different reasons. I would like to know if there could be a class action law suit brought against Asurion and T-Mobile. I know I am not the only one who believes that the insurance should go with the handsets IMEI or serial number rather than somehow be attached to a FREE SIM card they cancelled my SIM card and gave me a new one for no charge at all! Something should be done to prevent this type of underhanded thing from happening.

Very poor reception! Will say I have 3-4 bars, but will not let me make a call. Calls consistently drop or fail. Will get texts hours after they've been sent and wil never be notified of missed calls.

No reception in my home, outside I only get 1 or 2 bars. Use to live in Midvale and would get 5 bars outside and 3 bars inside. Also going to Walmart at Fort Union, inside I get bad service. I think it is just bad coverage all over the East Side, called Sprint and they state that they have the best coverage in that part of the town, I told them they need to check because I would disagree. I-15 is usually great coverage.

AT&T coverage has been bad for 1 1 / 2 years I've had it here. We've given up reporting the dropped and failed call attempts and use internet calls on the computer when we are at home in this neighborhood.

Very poor reception. Sometimes my phone shows 3 bars, sometimes says "Searching." Drops a lot of calls. I often use a VOIP app to call people using my wifi.

Data coverage terrible little to none, calls some what ok, I must live in a dead spot, will consider leaving Verizon when contract expires, too costly if it doesn't work.

I'm so amazed how fast I can download files at 3.2Mbps. Really fast internet. Faster than my DSL from Qwest 1Mbps. I can use my phone as a hotspot up to five devices. I can watch HD Video clearly without buffering. Sprint gives me unlimited 4G internet, not like AT&T and Verizon you only get 5GB of internet use and no 4G speeds. I would recommend sprint, Its cheaper than AT&T.

I always have zero or 1 bar, whether I'm inside or out. Very broken up, lots of static, calls drop every time. When people send me text messages, I usually only receive them about half the time. Even after I go to an area with good reception, my messages (voice and text) still don't come through.

I've never really had trouble with Verizon and I don't know why others have had issues with them in the valley. Occasionally I'll lose some bars the further away from the city I go, but all in all I can make calls where I want when I want in the Salt Lake Valley and take no thought if the call will go through or drop. If a call does drop its usually on the other side of the conversation that it does. I'm very satisfied with their coverage and the performance of my phone. Now if only they weren't so darn expensive! Oh well I guess I can't have it all.

I've had AT&T for 5 years and think they get great coverage provided you don't have a cheap phone. I unlocked a Samsung Memoir from T-Mobile so I could use it with AT&T and don't remember the last time I dropped a call. The call quality is amazing as well and it's as clear as a landline almost all the time. But once again, AT&T's quality is directly related to the phone you're using in my opinion.
