There is a roughly 2.5 square mile area with zero reception that nearly centers on my house in the 84108 zip code. After 4 months of trouble shooting the problem the final Verizon verdict was "sure sucks to be you." To be clear, even though they claim coverage in the area they admit that their team finds no signal, can't make calls, and can't improve things. But too bad. Worst customer service outside of Comcast I have ever experienced. Wish I could get that year back, but we are changing back to AT&T as soon as the next gen phone comes out. Verizon is simply awful.

I get a maximum of two bars when I hold my iPhone just right. If I have one bar my conversations and texts get dropped. All carriers I have used are bad in this area, they don’t seem to deliver the performance we want AND they don’t care to upgrade their service. For what they receive, their expenses are minimal. Welcome to their ripoff!

There is just enough signal (1 bar) for my phone to lock into 4G LTE. I have no way of forcing my phone to use 3G, so I suffer extremely slow data rates and frequently dropped calls. We're forced to call through wireless via our ISP, which is perhaps Verizon's intent, in order to reduce data through their network while having you pay the premium for a data plan.

I have two or three very weak towers equidistant from this location. If I move, even a couple of inches, the signal gets bounced from tower to tower and interrupted and often dropped. I actually get a more stable signal (if only 1G) from the basement, as it locks me into a single tower.

I switched from Verizon to TMobil because of poor transmission and dropped calls. Might be a little improvement, but still poor. Has anyone in Sugarhouse tried a booster?

Terrible reception in general. Especially downstairs. Driving around SLC I typically run into dead zones and as a result calls drop frequently. Coverage in this city is as if I am in the middle of nowhere.

I’m not able to work from home. Calls constantly drop and often little or no signal. Phone frequently switches from 1x to 3G. Rarely do I see LTE. I’m switching to AT&T as my friends have no issues at my house. Verizon reception is degrading all over the the valley. 15+ year customer going to switch.

I don't get any service in my house without standing by a window or going outside. And even then the service is spotty. Very frustrating!

We constantly drop calls. We have to go outside of our home when attempting to make a call and even then there is a 50 / 50 chance We will drop the call or will have to repeat ourselves over and over again. I avoid making lengthy calls due to the issue and am currently looking for an alternative provider. We will buy out of our contracts ASAP. My brother lives with us and has a month-to-month plan, pays less and has no issues using his phone in our home. So frustrating.

One bar is typical. Texts sometimes need to be resent numerous times. Even when previous texts to the same person in the same convo sent just fine.
