Coverage for both GSM and Digital network with ATT is poor here. GSM not viable had to switch back to Digital after purchasing GSM phone. ATT is the poorest example of commitment to customer service experienced in the last 3 years. Repeated attempts to resolve a billing issue result in slow responses and ineffective trouble-shooting. Its all about ATT not you!

Poor reception in buildings, very little reception in canyons. AT&T seems to have better coverage.

Moved to SLC on a Cinglular Nation TDMA plan. Even though Cingular does not have direct support here I am receiving Extended Service (probably through AT&T.) It is a hit and miss. Most of the time I have no issues out and about Metro SLC. I am however in an Extended Network and sometimes I don't get incoming calls but rather just a voicemail alert. Reception is also a hit or miss depending on if you dial another TDMA network or not. Reception can be poor at times inside a building in the SLC airport area. Shadow / roaming zones up I-80 near Magna between SLC International in Toole and up I-15 in North Davis / South Weber. Poor / No coverage in the Weber Canyon recreational areas. Will be researching local alternatives once contract expires for a better consistant service.

Pretty happy with reception. There are a few dead spots in the Sugarhouse area. But as a whole I get good coverage. Do get reception on the slopes in Brighton and Snowbird. Coverage has expanded a lot since I orgionally signed up a year an a half ago.

Very poor reception in this area. Can only talk from a few exact spots in the house and often have to stand in the middle of the road to make a phone call. Will probably switch this next month when my contract runs out.

Very poor reception (0-1 bar) 3 blocks in any direction from my house. Mounting a car antenna outside my home window raised reception from 0-1 bar to 2-3. Not a great solution, since I have to plug the antenna in, and stand within 2 ft. of window (cord length) to use my phone in my house. Friend's Motorola doesn't work here either, so I don't think it's my outdated phone. Called AT&T, but since they are pushing GSM, they told me that work on improving the TDMA infrastructure will no longer be performed.

I've tried Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and Cricket in the Salt Lake Valley, and must say that Verizon has the most reliable service from the ones I've tried. I have no dropped calls and get great service nearly everywhere I go. I'd strongly recomend Verizon in the Salt Lake Valley (they actually have the largest Digital Network in Utah)

This GSM is horrible. I've never had so many missed calls or problems sending or recieving text messages. I would say it's not all over the whole valley, apparently only the places I go.

Generally good coverage across Salt Lake valley but deadspots on I-215 about 1/2 mile east or west from I-15 interchange. Drops calls regularly when driving through that area.

Terrible reception down near the river at 5300 S. 625 E. Verizon works perfect here, ATT doesn't has a lot of dead spots.
