Intermittent coverage in the lower parts of the canyon. Very good and reliable coverage at Brighton and Silverfork. Has anyone tried Cingular GSM or AT&T GSM in the canyon?

No reception in my home. I live within 2 miles of downtown Salt Lake City. Need to drive down to 13th Avenue or lower for signal strong enough to place or get a call. I think Sony Ericson T68i phone may be part of the problem? However, other T-Mobile users unable to use their phones in or near my home.

I have never had less than one bar (with either one of my phones). I have never had a call dropped (and I drive ALL OVER THE VALLEY), never missed a call due to lack of service. Call quality is clear and perfect, I could not be happier. Better than any of my friends' other service providers (Verizon comes close, Sprint and T-Mobile both are awful compared to AT&T). Cannot recomend enough!

Signal ranges from none to barely a signal. If the phone rings don't bother trying to answer it. You might be able to hear the other party in bits and pieces and they won't be able to hear you.

Seems most of I-15 gets great reception, just a few canyons here and there that cause some trouble but other than that it is great!
