If I'm in a building I might as well grab a flashlight and start sending light signals. If I'm in my house in West Valley, or any where in that area, I keep a camp fire lit to send smoke signals. This service is LOUSEY!

Th s is ab ut ho a typi al co rsation o th Cingular (GS n two k sou ds. Unless y u hap n to be at Pinn cle Hig and apart nts - in w ich case you would 't ev n be able t m ke a call. You get the idea. AT&T and now Stinkular have been promising for over a year to improve their GSM service, but they haven't, and aren't going to. Generally, it works best if you write a note, tie it around your cell phone, and throw it in the direction of the intended recipient. This is why the smaller, lighter phones work better for Cingular. Avoid at all costs.

Calls at this address might get 1 bar consistently - it is right off I-215. If one turns in the wrong direction, the call drops into oblivion.

A very predictible dropout spot. It's as if you have to break the speed limit to avoid dropped calls! This is right above the Cottonwood Corp Center cluster of bldgs at 6400 S-I-215 exits.

I HATE the service. It's been very terrible for me. When I'm at home the phone is basically useless. I signed up for the AT&T GSM plan but my phone says Cingular on it when it's in use. The only thing I can count on is getting dropped when in the middle of a call. Tech support wasn't very good. I got the round around and transfer from dept. to dept. Each time contradicting what the last person said. I can't wait for my contract to be over. I can't beleive I can be held to a contract with such HORRIBLE service. I beleive I signed up to GET SERVICE not the other way around. I will NEVER use AT&T / Cingular again. I think I will stay away from LG phones in the future too.

I've had the razr for a few months now and have yet to drop a call. Cingular really is "raising the bar." I'm sick of hearing people complain about the service when they always get the cheap, plastic, free phones. I've had Verizon and Sprint and I choose Cingualr over them all.

Calls are always dropped when turning onto 2100 E off of Foothill. Reception is always poor while traveling on 2100 E until about 1700 S. Most of the neighborhoods in Eastern Sugarhouse have below average reception.

I've never experienced a dropped call, and I live in a basement apartment. Seems to have good reception throughout the valley.

Okay reception outside... .inside builidings results in calls getting dropped pretty frequently. oftentimes, I have to dial a number 2 or 3 times because it doesn't connect the first time. Also, the phone itself has some charging problems... .i'm still not sure whether it's the battery or the phone itself, which I have had for less than a year. Cricket customer service is pretty crappy, too... ..I spent 25 minutes last week on hold / talking to a customer service rep trying to simply get the address of where to send my damaged phone.
