Zero to two bars, most of the time 1 bar. Numerous dropped calls, poor reception, missed calls (straight to voicemail), up to about 1 minute lag time between dialing and call actually going out, occasionally no service, phone pretty much useless inside. Verizon told me that all the lead paint in my old house was responsible! When I remarked that the service is just as crappy outside - told me that other homes were blocking the reception (!?). When asked if anyone else had complained - said no reports of bad service. Dropped call - Verizon did not call me back, even though I instructed operator to do so. Incredibly frustrating - renewed our 2 year contract prior to moving - bad move... had to get a Skype VOIP line.

I work in the international center, I have tried the RIM, the Motorola L6 and the Mortorola V330 and there is basically no service there. Dropped calls, most of the time it says no service or emergency only. T-Mobile customer service sucks.

I used to have Verizon, and my reception was fine (around 600 S. and 700 E.) until I moved to West Temple and 1000 S. area. Then I dropped calls like crazy and couldn't hold normal conversations. It drove me crazy, so I switched to T-Mobile... SAME PROBLEM... I checked the coverage area maps and it looks like just the block where I live is a little weaker area, and once you throw in buildings, I get one little bar if I am lucky. Sometimes if I have to call somebody and I am on my way home, I sit in the car and finish the call before I go inside, since I know I'll just lose them when I do. My phone does have a little weaker reception than most phones, as my friends with Verizon and T-Mobile sometimes get one more bar than me on their phones. However, most of my T-Mobile friends have to go outside to take calls when they are visiting. My roommate has Sprint and she has never had a problem with coverage at our house. Also, when I am at 1900 S. and 1200 E. area, I also have poor T-Mobile reception. But, my Verizon friends have bad reception at my house and over in the Sugarhouse area, so I don't know what the answer is. The other carriers have a lot of problems too...

I have been very upset with Verizon for there service with me. I was having issue with my reception and they told me to come in and update my software and that woul fix the problem. When I did that there was a 1% chance that my phone would fry and I would lose all my information. Well I was in that 1% that it happened to and the Girl behind the counter just kind of laughed and said sorry it fried, and said but here is a new phone (which was the same phone) and we are sorry. I lost all my phone numbers and everything. I told them they should have given me a different phone to fix the reception but that didn't happen, and I still have horrible reception. I have to go out side of my house to make a call. I would definetly not recommend Verizon.

My calls, receiving or sending, are dropped within one minute. I have tried various Samsung phones and Nokia phones and had the same results with each phone.

Cannot use my cell phone at my house -- just keeps saying Looking for Service. Everywhere else I go in Salt Lake area, the reception seems to be fine. Also could not get any reception in Moab, Price, other rural Utah areas.

Within the last four months, reception has decreased from 5 bars to at most 1 bar with at least four dropped calls every day. While this was tested with an older phone, 1 year old, the same is seen with my wife's phone, which is only two months old. This hole in coverage spans from the Harvard / Yale area into Sugarhouse (1700S 900E). To prevent accidental roaming charges I turned off the Roaming option on my phone yet this results in the inability to make or receive calls at times. Sprints offered to sell me a new phone, claiming that it was my phone, but this is not the case as my wife's new phone has the same issues with service. Sprint PCS reception and service are awful. If you live in this area think twice about using this service.
