My service here is just average. Near the center of town I have about 3 out of 5 bars, but the further south I go worse my service is. (The nearest AT&T tower must be in Provo or something.) When I'm in Spanish Fork / Mapleton my calls get dropped all the time. It's embarrassing- my boyfriend thought I was hanging up on him! : / Comparing with my friends, I think that T-Mobile is the best provider here in Springville because the high school has a T Mobile tower holding up stadium lights. Haha :) Verizon is really good too.

Voice coverage is full bars on T-mobile. About 2 years ago they did something with the tower and it has been great since. I do not have data support, so I can't comment on that. I know T-Mobile has not rolled out 3G in Utah as of July 1, 2009. They are supposedly going to do it this summer. Hunter Valley is the riverbottom area on the road that turns off to Mapleton. Both phones were returned to Sprint and my service was canceled.

Bought two Sprint phones, Samsung and Palm Pre. The Samsung would hunt for the network frequently. The Palm Pre usually had the network but people were telling me I was breaking up. Also, there is NO data coverage (EVDO or 1xRTT) in Hunter Valley. Hunter Valley is the riverbottom area on the road that turns off to Mapleton. Both phones were returned to Sprint and my service was canceled.

No dropped calls with Verizon. Great signal strength with Verizon here, even though I live next to the mountain.

We started with AT&T - plan offered through employer. That was good. We stayed with it through the merger with Cingular and were forced to go to GSM. Summary: The old plan and service were good; the current plan and service are NOT. Since being converted to AT&T / Cingular, we hafta go outside to make ANY kind of call, sometimes having to walk a block away. Second, 95% of calls are dropped and must be retried. UNBELIEVABLE. We've also found a dead spot centered around 200 E on Center - for several blocks outward. Other than that I'd say that a good 25% of our calls are dropped. I just learned that our contract has ended so the first thing I'm going to do is celebrate at Cafe Rio... .THEN go cell plan shopping... see what Verizon and T-Mobile can do for us. Oh, other areas of dissatisfaction is price and customer service. Not enough space here to comment.

Have to go outside of the house to get phone to work. Most calls to my wife get to the point where one of us can no longer hear the other, even when neither are in motion. Cingular service is almost worthless here. Have been very unhappy with Cingular service overall.

Cricket coverage in Springville is a joke. It is either poor or non-existent in almost all parts of town. Don't even bother signing up with them.
