I get dropped calls inside my home. I've never had this with Verizon. I have to walk upstairs whenever someone calls to get bad reception, but at least the dropped calls stop up there. It's annoying. I've called to complain, but they seriously don't give a damn and say that their reception doesn't cover indoor usage. Well, I go outside and talk and only get 2 bars max. I have to get in my car and drive around to stop the annoyance of dropped calls.

I get no reception inside my townhouse at all. Outdoors I get a max of 3 bars. I have lived with this for two years and will leave T-Mobile because of this in a few short weeks.

I have had my ohone for about 3 weeks and have the unlimited plan and pay about $130.00 a month for service since I do not use my house line. I currently moved to a new condo and have no service at al. I also have a T-Mobile phone that gets at least 1 bar but my Cingular is horrible on reception. Great phone but poor reception.

I moved from Michigan and haven't switched from Alltel because no matter where I go, my signal is perfect. I have been all over the DC Metro area and have had no problems. Unfortunately, Alltel is not available in the DC area, but great customer service doesn't make this a problem. My parents have Sprint and could barely use their phones at all when they came out for a visit because they had absolutely no signal. I don't hear good things about Verizon either. I really wish Alltel was located here so I didn't have to drive to Richmond to find an actual store. But if Alltel does move to the area, it is worth it to switch.

Good reception, very consistent. Good in general around DC and NoVA. Of course it drops in the Metro under ground (it's on Sprint's network, not Verizon's). Works well inside condo, even inside the elevator, excepting under ground of course. The phone itself sucks. Poor sound quality and painfully slow, even just to dial a contact number. Battery life is mediocre. We have two of these $20 flips. Originally we had the even cheaper, $10, Nokia Shorty bar. It was better in every respect, but it, um, kinda got left in a hotel room somewhere...

the house is a dead zone for the cell phone. cant get any reception in house, and not enough reception in yard to understand what the other person is saying. driving through the neighborhood is ok, reception is kind of spotty. waynewood is just a spotty area for cell reception, we've had problems with Sprint and AT&T in the past, and we have the same problems now with verizon. on more major roads (fort hunt, gw, rt1) reception is excellent, much better than with those other 2 providers. except in the mt vernon area of the gw pkwy. reception dies a little in there too.

For the section of Beulah between Charles Arrington Drive, crossing the Springfield / Franconia parkway (by the Healthplex), continuing to Steiway St. is a deadzone for AT&T / Cingular. In the Manchester Lakes shopping center you get spotting coverage outside of the buildings, but NO coverage within Bungalowes. My girlfriend has Verizon and she has full coverage in these area. AT&T claims, after several phone calls, that this area has perfect coverage (listed as excellent on their maps). I filed a technical issue with them regarding this, and they responded back within an hour saying the problem has been fixed. No it hasn't - my phone still looses service there as do everyone else I know who has AT&T.

worse AT&T, Cingular or whatever they wana change their name to next, worse reception worse customer service, I had Verizon for 11 years and I had to go Cingular coz we moved to a new office and cing the 1 phone worked some what, but not any where else I hope someone will sue them for that commercial erasing the bar and the fewest drop calls are the biggest B S. going back to Verizon
